    Is Lifford not in Ireland? Did you mean Aberystwyth which is approximately in the same area?

    Aberystwyth - the line is travelling too far over it isnt on the border of England it is on the coast :)

    this PowerPoint is not a very good at all I recommend you do not download it. I would give it 1 out of 10 stars sorry

This resource is a great tool to use in your geography lessons on the topic of the United Kingdom and studies around Wales.     This lovely Wales PowerPoint is sure to make a fantastic addition to your lessons. Why not use it as a great way to kickstart your class?     How can I use this Wales PowerPoint at Home?

    What are some fun facts about Wales?

     

    • Wales is known for its beautiful scenery. Mount Snowdon is the highest mountain in Wales, at 1,085 metres above sea level. The Welsh name for Snowdon is Yr Wyddfa and old legends said a giant was buried in the mountain.
    • A famous castle in Wales is Caernarfon Castle. Prince Charles, who is next in line for the throne, was crowned ‘Prince of Wales’ in Caernarfon Castle in 1969. The fishing town of Caernarfon is within the castle's stone walls.
    • Wales is also famous for its food. Welsh food includes lamb, seaweed, laver, cockles, Welsh rarebit, Glamorgan sausages, Bara birth, Carmarthen ham and Welsh cakes.
