- Keith SMount Claremont, Australia388 contributionsI’m glad I didn’t listen to the more extreme reviews - on here and other sites (AllTrails- I’m looking at you!)- otherwise I probably wouldn’t have done it. Yes it is hard, especially the last bit, and if you have a fear of heights the last bit with its 360 degree views can be a little nerve racking, but there’s no clinging to a wire, dragging yourself up a narrow path whilst trying to avoid the 500m drop on the other side (well, not much of that anyway). The climb can be divided into 4- the east first third (think steps, pathways and easy paths - lulling you into a false sense of security), then the middle third - the paths disappear, there’s a bit of bouldering and holding on to railings; then the last third is divided into 2 - hard and the final 10 mins of very hard (pulling yourself up the aforementioned railings), and then- bang - you’re up top and it’s all worth it!Written June 28, 2023This review is the subjective opinion of a Tripadvisor member and not of Tripadvisor LLC. - Robert FBoston, MA73 contributionsI have been to 2 sections of the Seoul Trail. Both trails were easy to locate. They do not go to the highest mountain peaks but are pleasant hikes. I recommend finding and hiking different sections of the Seoul Trail.Written November 18, 2022This review is the subjective opinion of a Tripadvisor member and not of Tripadvisor LLC. - JHLSeoul, South Korea9,324 contributionsThis is a nice park for neighbors. Not recommended to visit for tourists because the location is quite suburb of the city.
- The location is right next to Dobongsan Station. It's good to start Dobongsan hiking or Seoul Dule-gil from here.
- There are various flowers and ponds. Good to take a lazy time walking. The surrounding view by mountains is amazing. The café upstairs of the visitor center is the best place to chill looking down the garden.
- The visitor center is the official info desk of Seoul Dule-gil(trail).
- There aren't many benches to rest in the garden. Mostly occupied by others. So, it's better to bring a matt if you visit for a picnic.
- As well as the flower garden, there are some military installations for exhibition, observatory, water showers for kids, sports courts, etc.Written April 23, 2019This review is the subjective opinion of a Tripadvisor member and not of Tripadvisor LLC. 2-coach yellow green trains are cute and very clean.
The front side of the train is with the transparent window and it's fun to watch passing tunnels.
It's good to try when travelers visit Bukhansan Mountain.
Like most other subways in Seoul, avoiding rush hours is recommended.Written February 28, 2019This review is the subjective opinion of a Tripadvisor member and not of Tripadvisor LLC. Tripadvisor performs checks on reviews.
