Lyons Township High School Reviews
Rating 4.04 out of 5 784 reviews
Lyons township is a good school with great opportunities and a lot of great people. Both campuses are good with food and the people so far as a sophomore going into junior year it's been a fun high school experience. Meeting new friends, finding new hobbies and sharing it with friends. Sometimes it can be a bit stressful but a lot of us students are able to overcome that. This school cares about their students and staff to the point where they make sure everyone can succeed. They make sure everyone participates. They want to push us to our limits so we can get better at it. Some people here are a bit mean but the staff have a no bullying policy and make sure to resolve any conflict students have so that there aren't any more problems in the future.Teachers make sure to tell students to ask for help when needed. They are here to help and see us be successful.
I love my time at LT! The amount of clubs and sports you can do are endless! I made some amazing friends, but I do have to say that some sports and other clubs can be a bit clique and it can be hard to find your group. Over my time here I made and lost some friends. But Lt is a good public school!
As a very big school, with population of approximately 4,000 on two separate campuses, the school provides a lot of options and opportunities for students of a diverse background, interests, abilities and more. The Principal of the school is an amazing person who is committed to her students and staff. She really shows up and supports all the activities, clubs, teams and community.
