American actor and singer Dan Finnerty was born in Rochester, New York State USA, on 22 January 1970, making his zodiac sign Aquarius. He’s had roles in nearly 40 movies and TV series, and is perhaps still best known for his playing of Wedding Singer in the 2009 comedy movie “The Hangover”, which Tod Phillips directed, and which starred Justin Bartha, Bradley Cooper and Zach Galifianakis. It follows three friends who attended a bachelor party in Los Angeles, and have now awoken without recollecting the events from the night before; the film won 13 of its 39 award nominations.

Education and early life

Dan was raised in Bath, New York State by his parents, about whom he rarely speaks in public as he respects their privacy; it’s still believed by most of Dan’s fans that his father was an architect, and his mother a doctor. Because Dan hasn’t mentioned having siblings, it’s believed that he has none.

He grew up being focused on his studies, and was perhaps mostly into music during his teenage years; he was in a school band, and dreamed of being a member of a worldwide popular music group.

Some of his most notable performances in the remainder of the decade were in the 2007 comedy “Vincey Masters: Born to be a Karate Meister”, the 2008 comedy “Extreme Movie”, and the 2009 romantic comedy “I Hate Valentine’s Day”.

In 2012, Dan portrayed Tour Manager Stacee in the musical comedy drama “Rock of Ages”, directed by Adam Shankman, and which starred Julianne Hough, Diego Boneta and Tom Cruise; it follows a city boy and a small-town girl who’ve just met on the Sunset Strip in Los Angeles, and the film won two of its 10 award nominations.
