The Philadelphia Eagles got Jalen Hurts another offensive weapon in the offseason to increase its opportunity to return to the Super Bowl and win.
A former Alabama quarterback, Hurts now shares the Eagles’ backfield with a two-time Pro Bowl selection in the National Football League.

Saquon Barkley was the No. 2 overall pick of the 2018 NFL Draft by the New York Giants. After a great collegiate career at Penn State, Barkley totaled three 1,000+ yard rushing seasons in six years.
He earned the NFL’s Offensive Rookie of the Year honor after an impressive first season in 2018.
Barkley had 1.307 rushing yards, 721 receiving yards, and 15 touchdown. He battled injuries in 2020 and 2021, but he’s healthy now and signed a three-year deal for the Eagles. Hurts and Barkley are going through Philadelphia’s offseason program.
A video surfaced on X with Hurts handing the ball off to Barkley. Eagle fans are excited to see what this backfield does.
Hurts got to a Super Bowl before without a playmaking running back and almost won.
We will see what he does with Barkley.
