I stayed in this hotel for two nights on business. Some of the other reviews have commented that that rooms are small, I had one of the larger double bed rooms and it was perfectly reasonable. The bed was huge with good amounts of clever storage around the room.

Shower room is small overall but the shower is a decent size with a nice overhead powerful shower with plenty of hot water.

No tea and coffee facilities in the room which is a shame but there’s free tea and coffee 24/7 in reception.

Breakfast is purely continental (no cold meats or cheese, more pastries and muffins) but it suited me fine.

Staff were really friendly, allowing me to drop my bags in the morning and asking about my day.

The location of this hotel is great, 2 mins walk from St James park tube station, 2 mins from Westminster and about 15 mins walk to Buckingham Palace or to Southbank and the attractions there.

Great hotel for the price and would definitely recommend and would stay here again

This hotel is in amazing location. It’s a 2 minute walk to St James’s tube station and a short stroll to shops and restaurants. Despite building work taking place all round the hotel, the soundproofing was amazing and we didn’t hear a thing. The room itself was clean and we had a window (lots don’t so ask when booking). The technology in the room was great and the bathroom was fantastic with an overhead rain shower and hand held shower in a glass cubicle. The only downside was having no symbols on the shower taps so it’s easy to get a full face of cold water from the hand held unit! As it’s a glass cubicle you have to stand in the shower to turn it in so a bit unavoidable! The bar/dining area is compact but has comfy seating. The breakfast is continental only but the range of food is good. Free Wi-fi at this hotel unlike other Premier Inn hotels. There’s also 24/7 free tea and coffee (self serve) in the bar area. The only other thing I would like them to change is that you have to pay when you book unlike the other hotels where you have a range of payment choices.

Stayed here for one night for New Year’s Eve. We loved the self-service check in which meant there was no hanging around waiting to be served. The hotel had excellent security with access only being allowed by using your swipe card. The room was a pleasant surprise, although they advertise the rooms as compact it was still spacious enough to walk around the bed and was ample space for two people. These rooms are ultramodern and we were very impressed with the panel that controlled many functions in the room. The bathroom was more than adequate with a great power shower and good lighting. We thought it was funny that we had to unravel our own duvet but this just added to the fun of a the experience of this kind of hotel. The only let down was limited hanging space for clothes but if this is just for a one night stay or single occupancy then this shouldn’t be too much of a problem. We didn’t eat breakfast here but it smelt amazing and the hotel also offer a complimentary coffee to residents whilst staying at the hotel. It’s a good location for Saint James’s tube station which makes it ideal for getting around the city.

Firstly do not be put off by the bulding work going on right in front of the hotel , you are not booking a hub room for the view .
we arrived to a very friendly welcome and offer complimentary teas and coffees in the lounge arear for the duration of our stay. this was a very welcome thing as we had just been on a coach for 3 hours . The Hotel is a mile walk away from the Victoria Coach and train station so only 20 minutes walk.
Our room was perfect for our stay , very clean and everything you need and evern with the room facing the building work outside there was no noise at all.
breakfast is a continental breakfast so toast , croisants , fruits , yogurt , muffins and teas and coffee all for £5 this is served in the lounge which seems to have plently of room for everyone.
we asked the hotel to order us a taxi to where we were going for the evening and the taxi driver was lovely and very friendly. when we arrived back from our evening we enjopyed a glass of wine in the lounge and again seemed that lots of people do this getting back from london shows so a really nice atmosphere.
we checked out early as we were visting the london eye which is a mile walk away so only 20 minutes , the hotel stored our bags for us which was fantastic . we arrived back at the hotel arround 2pm and even though we had checked out they said we could have a cup of tea before we headed back to the coach station to go back home .
during our stay we saw many members of staff and everyone of them were very friendly and nothing seemed to much trouble for them . we stayed here for a special birthday celebration weekend and the staff deffinately made the stay rememberable for all the right reasons , the Manager should be very proud of them all

We’ve stayed in countless hotels over the years and this hotel delivered more than we expected for the price. We thought it might be a capsule type room from the picture but it wasn’t at all.

The location is great for the Abbey and Palace of Westminster and of course tube station a few meters away to connect anywhere you want in London.

We booked a bigger room for slightly more money and it was perfectly adequate, spotlessly clean and very comfortable. The headboard had a digital display to operate everything such as lights and air con so no fumbling in the dark! There was room both sides of the bed which isn’t clear from the photos on the website.

The bathroom had lovely thick white towels, no mould at all, rain and normal shower heads and soap dispensers.

Buffet Breakfast was lovely with cereal, toast, pastries and muffins, fresh fruit and yoghurt. Tea, coffee, water and juice too

No tea and coffee in the room but endless supply of Costa coffee, tea, milk etc at reception - better quality than sachets in the room I think.

The staff were so friendly and genuinely warm and welcoming. They were helpful and kept the place clean snd tidy at all times.

I thoroughly recommend this hotel (and the one at Deans yard - it’s equally lovely if a bit bigger).
Having stayed at another hotel in London last month at twice the price, this one is much better …. even if the room is only slightly smaller. How much room do you actually need?

I was totally happy with everything at this hotel and have no hesitation in recommending it for anyone who wants a simple place to lay their head. The rooms are brilliantly designed with top-quality beds and everything you need for sleeping and showering. The rooms are small, yes, but this is very clear from the website and shouldn't come as a surprise to anyone. I should say that I was travelling with a friend and we had a room each, but it's a reflection of the excellent price that we were able to cancel a previous booking for a shared room at a different hotel, book two rooms at this hub and still save enough money on the total price for a very good lunch! When I booked it was only a few pounds more for a larger room than for the standard double, and I'd say it's definitely worth it.
Guests' initial impression of the hotel from the street suffers from the proximity of a large building site (I understand this has been the case for some time). BUT once you're inside this doesn't matter one bit. My room was at the front on the first floor and I couldn't hear the building works at all thanks to double-double glazing (great design). Overall, very very good and I'll definitely use this hotel for future trips.

Hubs are my hotel of choice for business trips to London. The rooms are small (like a cabin) but designed really well so they don’t feel terribly small, they are consistently clean and look just like the pictures on their website. There’s space to work and a place to tuck your bag/suitcase out of the way. Seriously comfy beds and great showers. Lots of current films to while away the evenings away from home. Staff always seem bright and breezy and the communal areas are clean, comfortable and relaxed. Entrance to the rooms is secure so I feel safe, exactly what I’m looking for when travelling alone for business.

We stayed here for 3 nights and thoroughly enjoyed our stay - the hotel is in a great location close to St James' Park and Westminster Tube Stations but also a short walk to Parliament & Westminster Abbey. Staff were very friendly and helpful.
Breakfast was good, there was a fair continental breakfast selection, my only issue is that the area is quite small so felt cramped at busy periods and there was a long queue for the single coffee machine - however food was replenished frequently and the staff were working hard to provide a good service.
The rooms are small in the Hubs, so don't be expecting a normal sized Premier Inn room but they have made great use of the space provided and we didn't feel cramped although were were only there with hand luggage, it might be different if you had a couple of big suitcases. The bed was excellent, we had a great night's sleep.
Our only small complaint was that the bin wasn't emptied in the bathroom prior to our arrival but it was so minor that we didn't mention it, I'm sure it there would've been no problem getting it changed. Another hook would be good for a 2nd towel but again, hardly the end of the world.

Nice budget hotel located very close to St. James’ Park station within few minutes walking. The staff are very nice and helpful, with willingness to answer all your questions. Check in and check out was very easy. “Bigger” room type is good for two people, bed is quite big and comfortable with room space for luggage. Heat/AC/light system can be controlled from headboard. Wifi quality is very good. Bathroom is good, and soap/shampoo is provided. In case traveler need additional amenities, it can be bought at hotel’s vending machine, even adapter plug. Simple breakfast is available for your choice, taste good in very decent price (GBP 6 per person).

Hotel is conveniently situated (St James underground station is fifty yards away)
Rooms are modern and comfortable.
The bar area is comfortable and the prices reasonable - the staff were always on hand to server drinks.
Despite the ongoing building work opposite, there is no sound disturbance. No great views, but that's not we were after.
Great nights sleep on the really comfortable bed.
All the staff we dealt with were friendly and efficient.
We will stay here again.

We just booked the biggest room on the website. I might suggest doing that then emailing the property and explain your situation. I hope that helps.
