We were seated at a picnic table under an overhang in the parking lot - not the prettiest location, but overall the meal was delicious and we all had a good time. The $1.50 oyster deal can't be beat, it was great to just order...as many as we wanted, and we got quite a few. Other meals were also delicious. A steak was overcooked but the server saw it and brought us a new one right away.More

We love to have dinner at Oyster Company during our annual Cape Cod visit. We highly recommend reservations because it is a popular spot which offers inside and outside dining as well as a nice bar. There is parking onsite but it gets very crowded....We timed it so we could have the ($1.50) oysters as an appetizer (served before 6:30 pm), and they were delicious. Their horseradish is spicy and delicious too. They offer a nice wine menu. The waitress was friendly and efficient; courses were timed perfectly. They serve bread with homemade hummus. My husband had the Cioppino AGAIN because it is so delicious he never wants to try another option (LOL). I had the linguini with white clam sauce which included 12 little neck clams. We had cappuccino and the delicious raspberry cheesecake for dessert which I highly recommend. Thanks again for a wonderful meal and evening Oyster Company.More

This is our new favorite place in the Dennis area, and we recently brought family with us, so we were 6 and had made a reservation more than a week ahead. I do wonder about other reviewers, and how well they know seafood, because these...are some of the absolute FRESHEST oysters you will get - harvested earlier in the day, or a day before serving! Three in our group got the scallops (from Chatham…Fresh!) with lobster risotto, which was delicious! Another review found “a small piece of lobster shell”….this is not a big deal! Kitchens are understaffed, and turning out consistently excellent meals in everything we had, yum. I’d have dinner 5 nights a week here if I could. I had the lobster quesadilla, which was out of this world, with enough to bring home. We also had 30 oysters, and 2 bottles of Starborough Sauvignon Blanc, NZ. Finally, I think they keep prices reasonable compared to what other restaurants charge for excellent seafood (this is not a fried fish and chips type place). Servers work so hard to keep up, and ALWAYS have a smile! We’ll be back soon! Thank you!More

On March 27, we made a dinner reservation for 6 adults and one baby. It was for 4:30 pm but we never got our entree food until 7:30 pm. We were drawn to your restaurant because it was advertised as having a heated tent serving...area. It turned out that the heater was not working. It was only blowing cold air until some other customer shouted for them to turn it off. It seemed the propane tank had to be replaced. Unfortunately replacing it did not help as 2 tent doors were open and could not be closed. Evidently one gaping opening in the end of the tent had to be left open for patrons to walk through from another parking lot to get to the restaurant, poor planning! Instead of seating us in a sheltered corner of the tent they left us to freeze in the sea breeze coming in that particular door. Other people came, ordered and were served food before us although they had to bundle up in stocking hats, gloves, etc. we did not bring heavy winter clothes because you advertised the tent was heated. All other tables in the tent were served before us and most left. Our order included , raw oysters, 3 soups and a starter salad plus 6 entrees. Only the cocktails ( big money makers) and oysters were at first served plus a basket of hard rolls. Drinks were then double ordered . No soups, salad or entrees as long as drinks were again ordered, food did not come. Not all of us had oysters or cocktails, so we had sit in the cold and starve, then the waitress ( who was understaffed and had to wait on all 8? Tables in the tent ) said they they didn’t have enough staff because they didn’t expect so many customers in March. But we had a reservation as did the other customers. Why wasn’t more staff brought in? The the waitress said the hold up /slow kitchen was because one person in our party ordered lamb. The lamb was slowing everything down ( What?) when the meals came out the lamb was cold and had to be sent back. When brought out again , the lamb was overdone not medium rare as ordered. This was supposed to be a family birthday party. What an expensive disappointment.! We will never come to your restaurant again.More

Four of us had dinner at the Oyster Company. We were very disappointed. The chowder was good. The oyster appetizer was OK but overpriced. The sauteed shrimp and scallops dinner was overcooked. Two of us selected the Chatham scallops with lobster risotto. The scallops were...cooked correctly. The risotto was undistinguished. There were shells and lobster cartilage in one of the dishes. The fourth dish was the sashimi tuna. It was cooked correctly but our friend doubted it was yellow fin tuna. Overall, the food was overpriced. As for service, the person waiting on us was great but the cook staff was a disaster. The appetizers came out at a reasonable pace but the (boring) bread showed up at least a half hour after we had put in our dinner order. And then we waited and waited and waited. Dinner came 75 minutes after the order was put in. A wait that seemed even longer because of the 70’s radio station being played over 2 cheap speakers set up on steps facing the tent where we were seated. Our server was great otherwise we would have walked out.More

Although the drinks, raw bar and chicken dish were good, the Lazy man's Lobster was a true disappointment by the 2 of us that ordered it. It was not a Lazy man's lobster. It was more like a baked stuffed lobster with an overwhelming amount...of bread crumbs and crab meat that was inedible. The Lobster meat itself still in the shell was very tasty. Service was slow. Overall an average experience. I expected more base on reviews and cost.More

Very disappointed. While planning my vacation I spent a few hours looking up restaurants in the area and saw Happy Hour specials which were NOT honored. I even showed the waitress, Michelle, thier website. She told me this is from 2004 and then had the...the audacity to lie to my face and say that Goggle will not let them change it (delete it then). She then asked me what I do for a living. What does that have to do with the fact that the reasaurant misleads the consumer and that you Lied to my face. I did not order anything, however the person with me did order from the Pricey menu. Afterwards she said she felt like she just threw her money on the ground. The only reason you even got a star is because you need to have one to post.More

Enjoyable experience. We went early to beat the crowds since we have two young kids. Big Tables very spaced apart for social distancing. cape cod margarita good and strong. Lobster cakes were ok, good not great. Both husband and I got Swordfish dinner and was...very good. Unique flavor on the pineapple sauce. My son got the Kobe burger kids meal- fries were fresh and seemed homemade vs frozen. Would recommend.More

Our family had a really lovely dinner recently at the Oyster Company. We were staying at an airB&B in Dennisport and the owner highly recommended the Oyster Company. Glad they did because we had a very nice experience. We were very pleased to get a...reservation and inside on a weekend. First time we had eaten inside since the pandemic began. We were welcomed at the door, and our waiter was friendly and efficient and all of the staff were professional and pleasant. The menu was great with lots of fresh seafood. My daughter does not eat anything "fish" and she too found plenty to choose from. She had the jerk chicken; while I thought it was to mild - not enough zing, she liked it and she described it as the best meal she had in our three nights on the cape. The cherrystones were fresh and yummy and our dinners were also very nice. Scallops cooked perfectly and Cod very good.Veggies were overcooked, but not terrible. The prices I thought were very reasonable and all in all it was a lovely experience.More

If the ear splitting loudness and poor service doesn’t make you want to pull your hair out, then you’re the brave one. Our hearts went out to the elderly wait staff who kept spilling food and bumping into customers unlucky enough to be sitting in...the tables in the middle. Add to this, average food. We had probably the smallest mussels ever produced with a thin tasteless broth. Our lobster quesadilla literally had no lobster and two of the four slices were burnt on the bottom. The linguine with clam sauce was OK but needed lots of seasoning and grated cheese ( which our waitress could not provide). On top of all this pain were the two most artificial tasting watermelon and grapefruit margaritas. We’ll wait another three years and try againMore

We had reservations and arrived on time. We had a nice table for 2 inside. The music is quite loud. My husband had oyster and I had a salad. Took a bit for it to come out. For main course we had fish with risotto....It took forever. About an hour. The server came over 3 times to apologize. It was crazy. They must have had issues with the risotto because it seemed like the whole restaurant was served at once. All with the same item. We’ve been numerous times. Maybe they were just off this nightMore

Had dinner there the other night. Food was very good. The value/ pricing , however was not good. They charged $12 for a rum and coke. Also charged $26 for a cod dinner. The piece of cod was 6 ounces or LESS. Smallest portion I...have seen in years at the highest price. Will probably not return.More

Fantastically fresh oysters! Go before 6:30 for unheard-of $1.50 per oyster. Enjoyed 2 orders with my partner before our dinner! He got the Cioppino which was outstanding, lots of seafood in a lighter broth. My scallops with lobster risotto and asparagus was out of this...world, too. This place hit all the marks - would definitely go back :)More

Went to Oyster company with my sister and brother-in-law from Denver for lunch. They love lobstah rolls when the visit the cape and I figured this was the place for a amazing lobstah roll. Well lobstah roll came and it was soooooo disappointing and very...pricey. Very dry (not a smidge of mayo) and lots of celery and lettuce filler was horrible. And too top this mess off was a bun that tasted like they got them from month old bargain shelf. This is a how too on making the crappiest lobstah roll on the cape. This was 1st and last visit to the Oyster Company.More
