Wyomissing Area Junior/Senior High School Reviews
Rating 4.23 out of 5 101 reviews
Wyomissing is a very diverse district with focus on academics, athletics, and extra-curricular activities. It is a relatively small school district which provides the opportunity for students to participate in activities and sports without having to standout. It is a very tight knit community where the parents are involved. The staff are great at encouraging students to try new things and pushing them in areas they excel. Whether your child needs extra attention or is looking for a full AP schedule Wyomissing will accommodate.
Overall, Wyomissing is a great academic school with strong programs and administration that cares and is involved with student success. Within the district, there is a lot of diversity, but that diversity is not necessarily shown in the classroom or in athletics.
Wyomissing has a very good academic reputation. I have been enrolled in high-level classes and have felt challenged. As I start my college search, I feel very prepared for the future. I also enjoyed the abundance of opportunities that the school provides. However, I have found that wyomissing tends to be very clicky and has always been about social status.
