The complete first series of the BAFTA-nominated sitcom following a six-man crew of rubbish collectors who display unusual commitment to their job. Nev (Edward Woodward) leads a crew that contains men of numerous backgrounds and outlooks. Though personalities sometimes clash and the trials and tribulations of life test friendships, the crew are united by a desire to do their job well and buoyed by a sense of camaraderie. However, with new management in place and privatisation encroaching on the traditions of the job, the men will have to be more united than ever if they are to continue to enjoy their work...
