Good fusion rock,some african influences,well played with a drummer who knows how it goes!Fine one!

Typical Bill Laswell fusion production. Maybe not as interesting as Horses & Trees or Ekstasis or Shadow Run, but still really good. Omar Faruk Tekbilek plays zurna and ney on a couple tracks - possibly his only recorded collaboration with the Laswell crew. Ginger Baker's drumming and Nicky Skopelitis guitar playing are exciting. Skopelitis is the only guitar player this time. But the whole stable of bass players: Laswell, Hellborg and Jah Wobble were at the session. Bernie Worrell on organ. Aiyb Dieng and a couple other people on percussion. Good stuff.
