- Some surface noise but this is by far the best record pressed at United that I have. Of course that is faint praise since every United pressing I have bought thus far was absolute garbage. Getting a decent (listenable) copy from them feels a little bit like winning the lottery....

an excellent pressing of my favorite live Prine album (that I've heard). The art is delightful. Much better set than the 4 LP box, in my opinion. Mine came with a couple promotional pieces-- a catalog, a biography, and a page about the release. I'd say this and S/T are my two essential Prine albums.- No distortion like others have mentioned, but a lot of unwelcome clicks, and even a pop, likely due to the thick paper inner sleeves. Fantastic album, but not the best pressing.

This album contains my favorite versions of many JP songs. A real gem.referencing John Prine Live (2×LP, Album, Limited Edition, Numbered, Reissue, Purple, 180g) OBR-005-LP
Has anyone listened to this pressing? Does anyone know the sound quality on this?referencing John Prine Live (2×LP, Album, Limited Edition, Numbered, Reissue, Repress, Orange) OBR-005-LP
Just a heads up, there's now a page for the 100 purple copies. If you're selling the VCUP purple copy, use that page, not this one.- As others have said, sounds great but pressing quality is fairly lame. On my copy, side C has some no-fill distortion and “Angel From Montgomery” has some distortion at its high points. However, my copy was only very lightly scuffed by the inner sleeve and had no warps or scratches.
- My copy is flat and close to quiet – some light ticks here and there. No non-fill or other issues. The recordings are nothing to write home about, but you do need a quiet pressing, as there are many quiet songs that are just Prine & his guitar. Two sides are pressed mildly off-center, but within what's acceptable.
