Looked forward to seeing this since watching Marlon Perkins hosting a show about animals from here 50 years ago...great assortment of animals; however quite a number of exhibits were empty! Loved the airy aviary; the gorilla habitat was awesome. There were a few signs talking about the research projects led by this zoo; I was expecting to see many more such stories. It is rated #1 zoo in the country; I've been to loads; and while this would rate top 5 to me; I don't think it's a #1. TopTop cafe was good; oh, it is quite expensive to get tickets there; look for discounts where ever you can. There was a huge gift shop. None of its extras were running when we went

A very interesting museum! Lots of Omaha history. I especially liked the Native American exhibits and railroad cars. The coin and token exhibit was phenomenal! Also tried a malted milk shake at the retro soda fountain counter.

We flew in from Michigan to see John Melloncamp at the Orpheum theater. Never been to Nebraska, never wanted to. Friends razzed us for wasting our time coming here. Well let me tell you, Omaha is a great place. Shopping, restaurants, parks, museums, we could not do or see everything in three days. The city is clean, feels very safe. Spread the word, Omaha is fun!

The view was amazing and it was great fun to walk between two states. The bridge is well maintained and the parks are beautiful especially on the Omaha side of the bridge.

We visited the gardens in February, so we knew that most of the outdoor areas were not in season. Fortunately, the gardens featured an exhibit with dinosaurs made out of Legos, spread throughout the inner greenhouse areas, so that made the visit well worth it.

This is a must see. Make sure to visit both the pioneer and the wilderness displays. These are downtown but parking was no problem. Would recommend visiting. It’s a nice stroll.

This is closed for reno but they have the MOST AMAZING collection of Native American artwork. This collection was painted by a man who traveled with a German prince in order to preserve the trip, like a photographer would now. You must read about this before you go. There are several books about it. Prince Maximilian of Wied-Neuwied - how these paintings ended up in Omaha is a huge gift to Omaha. I go there when I visit Omaha and am sad it is temporarily closed but will be glad to go again when they reopen. It is fantastic.

We had a great time with our grandchildren. There was so much to do for a variety of ages ranging from 6 months to 9 yrs old.

Excellent sight lines. Excellent food. Comfortable seats (non-bleacher). Lots of food options. Lines move quickly. Best venue for the Men's CWS. On the RF side, for day games, if you want shade - select rows 25-35 in the lower section (100).

This park needed an update. It was turning into a place for the homeless to hang out and there was a lot of trash everywhere. They did a nice job updating it and putting a new coat of paint on, so to speak. A lot of nice attractions now, and the trademark slides are still there!

I'm a little worried that with time, it will become a place for the homeless to hang out once again and trash might start to pile up. It seems it's already slowly going in that direction. Also, many of the new attractions seem they were built on the cheap. Many hammocks are already broken, the new monitors are gone and other new things have either fallen apart or are under repair.

I'll be curious what this looks like in another 2 years.

We visited here on a road trip. The cathedral is stunning inside and out. There is a huge vaulted ceiling and a large organ. Very impressive and well worth a look

Good trip. We arrived at approximately 4:30 pm and made our way towards the entrance of the park. Admission into the park was free, which is always a plus. We walked up several flights of stairs, and up a small ramp in order to reach the trains. There were informational plaques located alongside the ramp, that detailed the history of trains in Omaha and the backstory of the trains we were about to view. Located at the top of the ramp were two locomotives. We were not able to go inside either of them, and only viewed them from the outside. The trains overlooked a highway and a body of water.

Tip: I recommend spending 15 minutes here if you truly want to see everything.
