Ted Nugent's "Detroit Muscle" lp is a good rocking album. Is not real heavy, but it has some elements of the blues. Is not a blues/rock lp, but it sounds bluesy at times, kind of "old school", and that's a good thing! I've been listening to this album just about everyday going to and coming back from work. Uncle Ted's version of "Star Spangled Banner" smokes!!. He rocked it!!. "Come And Take It" is a up tempo rocker with nice guitar licks. But, honestly the whole album is pretty good.

From the opening Riff till the last note on side 2(throwback reference for older set) it blazes and blast as you would expect from the Sweaty one. If you love Uncle Ted, you'll live this album. Much better than the Music Made Me Do It. I hope I can still get around and shred like this when I'm 70+!!!. If Ted's version of the Star Spangled Banner doesn't make the hair stand up on the back of your neck, you're not American!! A must have on par with Spirit of the Wild!
