Visited with friends who live nearby to celebrate 2 birthdays. Since it’s been around for 40 years I was expecting somewhere past its best and tired but it was neither of these. It has very traditional decor and is quite dark but feels fresh and clean. The wait staff are very enthusiastic and not just going through the motions and clearly love the food they are serving. We started with a mixture of mini fries and mini onion rings which were very tasty. I had chicken pot pie as my main. It was full plate size under a pastry dome but it wasn’t as big as first thought as the meat layer was thin. They did us proud with birthday desserts too

We were a party of 8 celebrating a graduation and it was a lovely experience. My husband & I shared one the the fish specials - pan fried sea bass & tomato burrata salad and both were excellent as were the sides and salad the table shared. Everything tasted fresh and perfectly salted and spiced - they don’t hold back on garlic or butter. The service was outstanding - our waitress was so gracious and accommodating. Highly recommend for a special evening out.

This is an old school establishment that needs a bit of a makeover. The extensive menu is nice but not everything was good. The oysters were excellent , and so was the burrata. The salad was a bit soggy and the burger was very dry. I might want to try a steak next time since this is a steakhouse. The staff was super nice and the service was very professional. I will definitely go back. I just hope they improve the kitchen a bit. I give it my GoldnAdvice seal of approval because truly the service was outstanding and some of the food was excellent.

Went back having not been for 5 years . Service was good, food ok, but just that. Large portions of fair quality food served quickly but felt really”been there and done that” Way too expensive for what it was

Now that is wonderful place to go fir lunch after the shopping on Rodeo Drive! We just found this place casually and…didn’t we were lucky!!! Service perfect (everyone is funny and friendly starting from the lovely lady front of the house!). Food was just what we needed and…can I say simple: in these days in LA we found so many places and you need a dictionary to understand what you are ordering not here (Thank God!) A special mention needs to go to the chicken “paillard” (lemon and capers) absolutely divine! Prices are OK, a bit on the high side but everything seems pricey these days in the USA. All in all a lunch to remember: thank you!

We walked past this place and liked the look of the menu so took a chance. We are glad we did. The atmosphere was very nice. It reminded me a bit of The Ivy in London. The staff were all very attentive and professional. The dishes we ordered were all very good indeed. The meal was a little on the pricey side but it was money well spent because we all had a fantastic early dinner in lovely surroundings. I would happily go back here again next time I'm in Beverly Hills.

Let me start by saying the ambiance and overall experience is awesome. They have staff that have been there 30 years! We loved the atmosphere and the service was top notch. Unfortunately the food did not compare. The filet was well overdone as was the fish. The hash browns were dry. Sad because it could have been an epic meal.

I went with friends because they said this was a standby, can’t miss. Drinks were lovely but I made the mistake of ordering the calves liver, a favorite of mine. It was tough and I think it was beef liver. It was not good.

I honestly was debating between 3 and 4 because some of their dishes were good and some not that fresh. I defiantly recommend their oysters, so fresh. I also loved the lobster bisque soup, so creamy and full of lobster. The main dishes were my problem but maybe it’s because their specialty is steak cause they’re a steak house and I ordered shrimp pasta and brick chicken. To be honest with you the chicken was not fresh at all and had burnt portions that you could taste it. The shrimp pasta was so average except for the shrimp that was totally burnt instead of grilled and I couldn’t finish it. Price wise it’s not an expensive for a resturant fancy like this and right next to Rodeo drive. By the way, there’s a free parking right next to it.

The grill is a fabulous quaint place to have a drink or dine and it is tucked away in an alley off Rodeo Drive, it is quaint and charming and you may spot a celebrity or two there as it is located next to Beverly Hills Anti-Aging where celebrities go to get face and body treatments.

Beverly Hills
Beverly Hills began as a modest village years ago and today you can still feel its small town origins, even though it has become a major tourist attraction and business center for the entertainment industry. This town lives up to its reputation as an area full of designer retail stores and residential streets lined with mansions and palm trees. Inside the commercial center of Beverly Hills, along Rodeo Drive, droves of tourists peak into ultra-luxurious boutiques hoping to catch a glimpse of someone famous. Off of Rodeo Drive however is where some of the most affluent Angelenos occupying the streets of Beverly Hills come for leisurely meals, power lunches and beauty treatments.
