One of the perks of having a celebrity mom is getting to borrow from her iconic closet—just ask Zahara Jolie-Pitt or Valentina Paloma Pinault. Now, to celebrate her 21st birthday, Catherine Zeta-Jones and Michael Douglas’s youngest, Carys Zeta Douglas, enjoyed this luxury when she pulled from her mom’s wardrobe to help ring in her milestone year.

As seen in a new Instagram post, Carys re-wore a pink slipdress designed by Emanuel Ungaro, which her movie-star mom wore to the MTV Movie Awards in 1999. Carys showed off the vintage piece in a carousel, which she captioned, “The most perfect 21st I could ask for ! 🌸”

The lemonade-colored spaghetti-strap design features white lace detailing around the heart-shaped neckline, as well as sequins in magenta and green, to create the appearance of sparkly roses. Although it was hard to tell in the 21-year-old’s carousel, the dress also includes these same lace and sequin details along the bottom of the skirt, creating a sort of sandwich effect.

Back when Zeta-Jones wore it, she paired the piece with shiny silver heels and a dainty charm bracelet. As for her daughter’s footwear, the best glance we got was in a blurry photo Carys posted, which saw her getting lifted up in a chair and laughing. From the photo, it appears the birthday girl chose a similar pair of strappy heels as well.

Carys’s Academy Award–winning mom sent her love in the comments section of the post, where she wrote, “You deserve it sweetheart ❤️.”
