ive been mixing digital for 6 years, i mostly mix Hard Trance, Early Hardstyle, Freeparty/Hardtrance and techno.

I have been buying from junodownload for 6 years my first purchase being on my birthday in may 2017, at the time its because i could get 1 more tune from junodownload then i could with beatport for under £10 and the fact that beatport didnt have a "Hard Trance" option at the time.

Whereas the service is good and direct the only issue ive ever come across is the catalouging of the genre of tunes, in a lot of cases i get emails alerting me to releases that are dubbed "Hard Trance" but are in actual fact Psy-trance, Techno and/or the occasional handsup tune, Tech-trance and Uplifting Trance this is extremley disappointing becuase it takes away from sales of artists who may specialise in a certain genre but end up being in somthing else, halfway through the year some of the genres of my favourite label where changed to "Uplifting Trance" i asked the label owner directly if he knew of this and he didnt, he set about to find out why his releases where coming up as "Uplifting Trance" even though his label specialises in German Hard Trance, he had no response nor reply as to why these changes where made and they still remain as "Uplifting Trance" this made me realise that juno pay no attention to what they are actually supplying, i often wander to myself "who is actually catalouging these tunes".

The ID3 tags are preffered for junodownload then from its competitor beatport as once you get the download from beatport you then have to manually remove the cat number and insert the artist name and aload more "-" and "_" where must for somone like me who takes the tunes with them to listen too so for this reason i prefer to buy from junodownload.

my overall experiance with them is great, besides tunes having the worng genre label so there are probably tunes out there ive missed as when i first started mixing, i didnt know the name of half the tunes i was looking for, just knew how they went.

After Junodownloads response to this review they have corrected the issue with the label so in light of this, due to excellent and quick customer service as well as rectifying the problem i have changed my rating from 3/5 to 4/5 and i will come back when i get consistent Hard Trance releases, then i would have no problem in giving junodownload 5 stars.
