Jennifer Coolidge made a fabulous appearance at tonight’s 75th Primetime Emmy Awards ceremony.

The actor stepped onto the red carpet at Los Angeles’s Peacock Theater wearing a gothic pleated black gown featuring a dramatic ruffled collar, sheer mesh long sleeves, and a floral bronze pattern printed all over. As for glam, she swept her signature blonde locks up into a high bun, with a few curled strands left down to frame her face.

Coolidge has been nominated tonight in the category of Outstanding Supporting Actress in a Drama Series for her performance as Tanya McQuoid-Hunt in The White Lotus. She won her first-ever Emmy at the 2022 ceremony, for playing the same character in season one of the HBO series. (Alas, a nomination for season three is unlikely.)

The star reflected on leaving behind her White Lotus character, a ditzy heiress in a deceptive marriage, in a 2022 interview with Variety.

“It was sort of the beginning of good times for me, coming out of Covid and making White Lotus season one. To be given this gift to act and do this very cool story,” she told the outlet. “I know [series creator] Mike White’s a genius and all that, but I never had the thought that White Lotus was going to be a huge deal. I remember thinking, ‘This is good,’ but there’s a lot of good stuff on television that never gets any recognition. I didn’t have any expectations, but it turned into this massive thing.”

Four of Coolidge’s White Lotus costars are also nominated in the same category: Meghann Fahy, Aubrey Plaza, Sabrina Impacciatore, and Simona Tabasco.
