Kajol To Wrap Up Shoot For Horror Film Maa Soon - Exclusive Details Inside

Kajol is set to conclude filming for her much-anticipated horror flick Maa soon, Zoom TV has exclusively learnt. The Vishal Furia-directorial will mark her debut in the supernatural genre in her three-decade-long career. The film, that also stars Ronit Roy, will be produced by her husband Ajay Devgn under the banner of Ajay Devgn FFilms.

Kajol had once called Tanuja Chandra’s 1998 psychological thriller, Dushman, one of the scariest films she has ever done. Well, we can't wait to hear what she has to say about shooting Maa now, which is even scarier. Vishal Furia, who has helmed several horror films like Chhorii, Chhorri 2, Bali and Lapachhapi, is now in the post-production stage of Maa. The central theme revolves around a mother, however, specific details about the movie have been intentionally kept under wraps.

A source from the production house exclusively tells us, "The filming for Maa is nearing completion. Kajol's dedication and Vishal Furia's visionary direction have propelled the project forward. Maa went on floors in January this year in Kolkata.

Kajol is gearing up for Dharma Productions' Sarzameen, where she will share the screen with Malayalam superstar Prithviraj Sukumaran and debutante Ibrahim Ali Khan. Kajol also has the mystery thriller Do Patti alongside Kriti Sanon in the pipeline. The actress was last seen in Lust Stories 2.
