I didn't believe in time travel or teleportation until it happened to me.

I'm Bruce Gernon, and I flew through the heart of the Bermuda Triangle before I'd even heard the term. Skeptics have dismissed the Triangle as a nonmystery, but they weren't in my airplane when the fog surrounded my craft and I leaped ahead 100 miles. I documented what happened and memorized every detail of that flight.

Now I'm ready to explain that there is no Bermuda Triangle! Instead, there is a continuing mystery that has resulted in thousands of disappearances of crafts and loss of life over decades and centuries: a phenomenon I call electronic fog.

In
Beyond the Bermuda Triangle, Rob MacGregor and I present multiple cases of pilots and others who have experienced electronic fog in the air, in the water, and on land. We also examine UFO and USO cases and their possible relationship with space/time warps. Among the fascinating topics we explore:
  • Time travel and teleportation.
  • Lost crafts, including Flight 19.
  • The Dragon's Triangle.
  • The Underwater Area 51.
  • The man who is building a warp drive.
  • A remote viewer who takes on the Triangle.

Hmmm, Not all I thought it would be
I thought I was purchasing the first book about Gernon's story of the electronic fog. These are a collaboration of stories from people with similar experiences. Its ok.. not bad. I would not give it a four star because sometimes I get bored with the stores and some are unbelievable. Trust me, I am TOTALLY into other dimensions, UFO's the unexplained, but this book did not strike me as true stories. Gernon's story was very short. That was the only story that interested me most. I will keep it on my shelf as I want a living library. Perhaps some of my friends might find it more interesting.

A terrifying, all-too-real shadow roams across our planet, that has arbitrarily taken many lives, and that has spawned a quiet reign of terror. It tried to take Bruce Gernon's life -- twice. But he slipped through its deadly grasp. Now he battles it, with the one weapon that all assassins fear: exposure. Little by little, Gernon is dragging this incredibly dangerous meteorological phenomenon into the full light of day. I have no doubt that he will continue to do so. Meanwhile, beware! Thank you, Mr. Gernon, for your amazing work!

I couldn’t put this book down. I was familiar with the first book “The Fog” but this book takes it even further. I’m so impressed with all the research and new stories that show there’s something to this electrical fog. It’s excited to think of all the possibilities that this new science once excepted can bring. What a great book. I’m so glad I bought it.

Well written, very informative. I had no idea the "time tunnel" existed in the so-called Bermuda Triangle and elsewhere in the world. The information about the budding time machine was fascinating. I would recommend this informative book.

I loved this book. Very easy to read, compelling and the author comes across as very honest and down to earth. Be prepared to have a lot more questions after reading the book than you had at the start but that's a good thing!

Fascinating subject and examples of other strange case studies. Recommended

4.0 out of 5 stars A few problems, but generally readable and interesting
Reviewed in the United Kingdom on July 24, 2020
Bruce Gernon and Rob MacGregor discuss interesting cases from the Bermuda Triangle and elsewhere, starting with an incident, involving Gernon, that reportedly occurred on 4 December 1970. He was then 23 and was piloting a small aircraft, a Beechcraft Bonanza A36. He was accompanied by his father and the latter’s business partner. They took off at 3.01 p.m. from Andros Island in the Bahamas, intending to fly to Palm Beach, Florida, via the Bimini islands, which are also in the Bahamas. Like his son, Gernon’s father was a qualified pilot. He acted as a co-pilot during the flight. Despite a favourable forecast, they encountered odd weather. After flying through a strange ‘tunnel’ within an area of cloud, Gernon experienced a feeling of weightlessness, which lasted about 10 seconds. Electronic and magnetic instruments in the plane appeared to malfunction, and instead of clear blue sky, everything seemed to be a dull, greyish white, with a visibility of no more than two miles. They were in what Gernon calls an ‘electronic fog’. He radioed Miami air-traffic control, saying that he wasn't sure of their position, although he thought they were about 45 miles south-east of Bimini. Surprisingly, the controller said that nothing from that area was showing up on the radar screen. However, sometime later, the controller said that he’d spotted an aircraft over Miami Beach, heading west. At that point, Gernon and his companions had been in the air for just under 34 minutes and couldn’t, by normal standards, have reached Miami Beach. Suddenly, the ‘fog’ started breaking apart in a strange way and soon disappeared completely. As the men’s eyes adjusted to the brightness, they saw Miami Beach directly below them. They landed at Palm Beach International Airport at 3.48 p.m., nearly half an hour earlier than would be expected, with a saving of 10 gallons of fuel. The weather forecast, received early in the flight, didn't mention strong winds. Therefore, it’s unlikely that their early arrival resulted from a powerful tail wind.

I messaged Bruce Gernon, via Facebook, wondering whether the stated take-off and landing times of the plane had been independently recorded at the respective sites. However, he wrote back, explaining that, in 1970, such information was kept for only a year, and therefore, regarding his flight, these details will have been erased.

Unfortunately, in relating the incident, Gernon and MacGregor seem to have made a few mistakes concerning directions. For example, on p. 28, they mention a point in the flight when the aircraft was an estimated 95 miles south-west of Miami, although I think they meant to say that it was SOUTH-EAST of Miami. At any rate, the book explains that Gernon went on to have further anomalous experiences over the years, including UFO sightings and a second encounter with ‘electronic fog’.

The book also cites intriguing accounts, often first-hand, from other sources. However, one story that should almost certainly be disregarded concerns an RAF officer, Wing Commander (later Air Marshall) Victor Goddard, who purportedly had a precognitive experience (a glimpse into the future) while flying a small plane in Scotland a few years before the Second World War (pp. 123-5). He supposedly saw a disused airfield as it would be in 1939 after being brought back into use. But in a detailed and scholarly examination in the January 2019 and January 2020 issues of the Journal of the Society for Psychical Research, Robert Charman has convincingly debunked the case.

I found a few passages in the book unclear, and I noticed a sprinkling of grammatical errors and typos. There are also inconsistencies regarding the format in which clock times have been reported. For example, on p. 67, one finds ‘4:45 p.m.’ and also ‘5:15’. With better proofreading, these minor problems could have been avoided. Nevertheless, the book is generally very readable, and it contains a lot of fascinating case reports. But it would have benefited from an outline map showing the flight path of Gernon's plane on 4 December 1970.
