Fun place to work

Blizzard was fun to work for, they take care of their employees and the office was a fun place to work in. Though the players you interact with can be hit or miss.

Very cultish from top down and very micromanaging

This place is very weird in vibe. The VP’s aren’t very good leaders and are very micromanaging. Everyone just follows what the President and GM’s want and no one is allowed to dissent. The Chief People Officer has zero personality, disingenuous, and caters only to the leadership team with every VP of HR performing like regular and low level managers with zero strategic or executive presence. Pros- lots of people are kind as individuals. I made some amazing friends at Blizzard. - work/life balance is fine if you are very intentional about maintaining it.
