These Boots Are Made for Hiking

Hi All: I have just scheduled a zoom call for the Grand Canyon folks.
If this is something you are interested in jumping into then you need to attend. The way it works is we have one zoom call. Those people who are interested after the zoom call gets put into a whats app group and our conversations continue from there.
Things to consider before jumping in:
You must be a regular These Boots Hiker.
This is an intermediate hike - two days
We typically stay in hostels.

Who knew there was a second welland canal!
This is a picturesque hike along the canal with an offshoot.
It is filled with history so you might walk away smarter!
Get out your spring walking shoes folks. (I tried my HOKA's for the first time and they were so much lighter and softer than my boots. It's not a plug..just saying)

Hi Folks: This is our very popular weekend away. (It is very drivable so you don't have to stay overnight)
We meet Saturday Morning and hike our favourite hike - it is an intermediate hike- then meet for dinner and dancing if you decide.
Check out the Comfort Hotel - for rooms to share.
Also, on Sunday we will try and check out the Power Station - it is the best veiw of the falls that you can get!

Meetup Location: Car Park at Niagara Glen, 132 Niagara River Pkwy, Niagara Falls, ON L2E 3E8.

Rouge Narional Urban Park, Canada's first and only national urban park awaits you!
It's 79 square km of green space with hilly terrain and a 360 degree view of the city, making it a moderately challenging hike for us!
Rain or shine, we will hike 15km at a fast pace. Lots of hills...oh yeah!
Afterwards, we will head to a sumptious meal at a Guyanese restaurant becuase this hike is led by Angie!
Parking is free.
Bring water and snacks.

Sunday July 21 - Friday July 26 -hiking and travelling via camper vans - don't forget the bell bottoms - Sat July 27 - back at hostel for goodbye dinner.

Just a reminder folks on the parameters for joining an away trip.
1. You must be a regular Sunday Hiker
2. Hiking with grace is mandatory. Whatever the conditions are there is a smile on your face because we just love a challenge!
3. Easy to get along with. Your interpersonal skills are chill; you love an adventure, and most importantly you don't think you can do it better. Away trips are supposed to be fun yet challenging where we support each other! Please keep this in mind when you are considering coming.

Muna has opened her family home to our group!
Everyone arrives Friday night - no earlier than 8pm folks, and leaves by Sunday at 5pm!
There will be room both inside and out and room for 20 people.
$20. will be collected and put towards a "Boots Party" party in August or Xmas.
You need to bring a sleeping back,tent, your own food as this is potluck for Saturday night! We are hiking the Saturday either at Awenda or Balm Beach!

Hey All: This is a first come first serve campsite.
No reservations so we will take our chances. Hike Saturday with your gear to the campsite. This is not for beginners.
Come prepared with your tent, food, sleeping bag, warm clothes!
