It had an exhibition of the neo-impressionist painter Henri-Edmond Cross (open until 14/11/2023) and this alone was worth the trip. It was breath-taking. The permanent collection of the museum is small but also extremely interesting, many gorgeous painting by well-known and lesser-known neo-impressionists. Early morning : Drive to Ramatuelle for sunrise, and no tourists. 9:00 to 11:00 visit the village. Walk at Moulins de paillas 11:00 to 11.35. Eat in Ramatuelle: 12:00 to 13.00. Make your way down to the beautiful beaches. Do a coastal hike and dip along the way in undiscovered coves or just stay at one beach to make the most of it --> from 13.00 to 17.00. At 17.00 drive to Gassin (20mins), and explore the tiny village, making your way to the Table D'orientation for sunset. After sunset, eat dinner in one of Gassin's beautiful terrace restaurants. Maybe stop and buy something for someone at home? This is one of the rare seaside cemeteries in France and enjoys breathtaking views over the Gulf of Saint-Tropez and 'Les Canebiers' bay. It is a very special place and I was there for a personal ceremony and tribute to my beloved. If you visit at the entrance of the gate there is a lock on the railing in front of the 2nd bench viewing the bay.
