              I was verbally attacked by this artist for selling their vinyl record on a competetiors site. They told me my licenced and barcoded Mercury pressing was a bootleg. After listening to the record I realized it was complete garbage and there is no reason anyone would ever bootleg it. It has pretty much no value. I am guessing bootleggers are probably trying to repress things of value. The whole thing was spun to me by the music rights owner as information she read off of a social media platform. The article she sent me about bootlegs started out stating "It's hard to speculate but..." Essentially she had my item pulled off the internet and put my business in jeapordy because of some speculative social media junk. I decided then and there I will never have any respect for this artist or their music.

                Michelle Shocked is protesting Spotify. And her music is not available on YouTube either. This album appears to be out of print. I’d love a repress collectors set of this, or more of her work. This album is for sure an underrated gem. It’s hard for the new generation to discover. Me, being 31, i found her music when I heard “you know your in the biggest state in the union when your anchored down in anchorage”, on a commercial, or tv show/movie, and from that moment I was sold. And spent a long time looking for the song. I can’t remember where I heard that clip, but I’m so glad I did.

                  This record's cover is a rip-off of Chaos UK short sharp shock. The title and cover is a rip off of their album, so screw Michele. Also the band tried to get rid of her from ripping them off but the market didn't care.                     Agreed, this is a hidden gem, her best work. Every song is catchy, some are intimate and wistful. "Memories of East Texas" and "Anchorage" in particular are so lovely, specific, and real. I've never understood why anyone would consider tacking "Fogtown" on the end. It's a rocker, and it's alright, but completely breaks the mood.
