The best parts were the arts teachers, sports games, and the theatre department. The work put into those programs are shown and it’s something students enjoy and look forward to. Besides the arts teachers, the others are not kind, feel like they don’t care about students, and are just there to get paid. The security officers are the nicest people ever, administration is not great, but the student involvement is there.
Kentwood High School is proud of their diversity as they should be. A very welcoming school to many cultures with multicultural assembly’s and spirit days that welcome students to represent the their culture. Majority of the staff are older with the average age probably being 45. Great music programs with choir, orchestra and band being very popular and well advertised. Sports are incredibly important here and have amazing coaches for most sports. Kentwood takes a lot of pride in their sports. There is almost every club at Kentwood that you could think of, creating many different outlets for students to express themselves. Kentwood is a great school and I am proud to say that I am a student here.
I really enjoyed my time at Kentwood High school, I am a better person today because of my time at Kentwood - Go Conks!
