Dude majorly worked to get his wife. He met Pat when she was working in the University library and asked her on a date. She said she was dating someone so he said that was alright, he’d marry her eventually. Then he drove her to her dates with her then boyfriend.

Even if you get fascinating facts as feedback here, you don’t have any way of verifying that it’s authentic. Paul Carter's book is pretty good for this ! California's Native Son (even having foreword by Tricia Nixon herself !) I heard is a pretty good read, especially in regards to the background information behind Nixon's life.
