Please could some bright person help me?

I get flashes of bright colour in my renders from DaVinci Resolve?

Its just one frame, but happens repeatedly...

Some details would help Marcus.

What's the footage? Do you see the flashes on your timeline, or just in your rendered output?

We are currently having an issue where our FS7 footage has occasional green or purple flash frames showing up randomly. This is in the colour tab as well as the final renders. It doesn't always show up though.

What hardware (CPU, RAM, GPU, disk i/o)? What OS? What specific version of Resolve? What kind of source material? What timeline resolution?

We have had some full-frame green flashes from HEVC F55 H.265 camera files, but usually only the very first frame in the timeline. Our workaround was to extend the start of the clip but black it out with a keyframe, so the glitch was "under" the black (so to speak), making it invisible. I haven't tried it with 15.1.2 to see if that particular problem was solved.

Hi Marc, 12 Core- 2 x 2,66GHz 6-Core Intel XEON, 28GB RAM 1066, ATI RADEON HD 5770 1025MB. Standard Spinning 7200RPM drives.

Footage Shot on the little SONY AS-7 as far as I can tell. Flashes are intermittent. I will try out your BLACK Option Marc, thanks..

I would transcode it all to 10-bit DNxHD or DNxHR (assuming you're on Windows) and not try to use H.264 or H.265 material.

Marcus, what kind of flashes? Your image link is broken.

Yes, I installed the 15.1.2 'upgrade and fixes' from the Resolve website. Still get the same issues though...
