- Brianna B1 contributionMy boyfriend and I had a 1 hour private dome experience that was unfortunately cancelled because the heater was broken but the winery and Alex S compensated extremely well. We were instead given a private tasting indoors with Alex S. He was extremely friendly, knowledgeable, fun, and charismatic; and he really made the experience memorable and enjoyable for us. - Luke M1 contributionThe Reif Estate team were absolutely amazing in every way to help me propose to my girlfriend! We had a back vintage tasting with the fabulous Herb, who took great care of us in the winemakers loft. The wine was outstanding, and we highly recommend this winery as a MUST stop anytime you are in the area! Huge shout out to Alissa, Kyle, Deb and the rest of the staff who make every single visit we spend here special! The staff made it a magical experience from start to finish, and it was just the special experience I had hoped it would be. The service was top notch from start to finish, the food was exquisite, and the wine was a perfect complement. Everyone in our group of six thoroughly enjoyed the evening, and I can't thank the servers and kitchen staff enough. - Grahame RNiagara Falls, Canada21 contributionsWe had purchased tickets to see Brigadoon for a Sunday matinee. There was an opportunity for a morning "Backstage Tour" prior to the play so we booked. We arrived and were the only two who wanted to get up early on a Sunday I guess. Nevertheless the 3 guides or "docents" (I learned a new word) were absolutely wonderful. We had basically a private tour behind the scenes and learned more about the history of the theatre and thoroughly enjoyed our time. Their enthusiasm made our tour that much better.
The Play in the afternoon was wonderful and it was a perfect day. We had an amazing experience ! We were welcomed with a lot of enthusiasm and a big smile by our guide Hannah, and were delighted to find out that we were getting a private tour ! We were able to ask all of our questions and Hannah made sure we were always comfortable despite the chilly November temperatures. She let us take all the pictures we wanted and even let us taste the grapes ! We learned a lot about the history of the winery and saw how the wine is made. Then we went back inside to a magnificent bar for the wine tasting. This was such a great experience for us ! We had so much fun drinking wine and chatting with Hannah. We had some Christmas shopping to do and wine makes a good present so… we bought a lot. Hannah was so helpful helping us choose, and when we hesitated to buy something we hadn’t tried, she offered that we taste it, so we went back to the bar ! She also had another member of the staff take pictures of all three of us, so we have lovely souvenirs of this wonderful visit and of the greatest guide ever. - Jim77 contributionsNiagara-on-the-Lake is a great village to visit. They have persevered the 19th century look and feel. We were there on December 31st and was pleased with the holiday spirt
being displayed. Only 30 minutes from Niagara Falls and makes for a nice stop over if traveling to Tronto.
Take the time to stop into the Prince of Wales located on the main st. Enjoy a walk through enjoying the vintage surroundings.

- Lori LCambridge, MA92 contributionsWe had a wonderful visit to Jackson-Triggs Niagara estate this past Friday Nov 10. The building and vineyards are beautiful, the food and wine were delicious and everyone we interacted with were lovely - from Pierre's warm welcome to Maggie's great suggestions for lunch (local cheese and charcuterie board, confit duck salad, short rib tacos) and our wine tasting to our conversations with Glenna and others on the team in the Gift shop where we bought bottles of ice wine for ourselves and for gifts for family members.
