Why Did Joe Walsh Leave the Eagles? 

Joe Walsh joined the Eagles in 1975, replacing Bernie Leadon. Initially, there were concerns about his compatibility with the band due to his reputation for being "wild." However, the Eagles released their iconic album, "Hotel California," in 1976, marking Walsh's debut. 

The album took a year and a half to complete, straining the band with recording and touring. The title track became a signature song, while "Life in the Fast Lane" showcased Walsh's guitar skills. After the album's success, founding member Randy Meisner left, and Timothy B. Schmit joined the band. 

They recorded "The Long Run" over two years, which included hits like "Heartache Tonight" and "I Can't Tell You Why." The Eagles disbanded in 1980, with Walsh's contribution solidifying their status as influential rock legends.

Joe Walsh Reunited With The Eagles

In 1993, a country tribute album titled "Common Thread: The Songs of the Eagles" was released, reigniting public interest in the band. Travis Tritt featured the Long Run-era Eagles in his "Take It Easy" video, leading to speculation about a reunion. 

The Eagles officially reunited in 1994, with Frey, Henley, Walsh, Felder, and Schmit as the core members. They embarked on the Hell Freezes Over tour, accompanied by a live album that topped the charts. 

In 1998, the Eagles received the Rock and Roll Hall of Fame. Subsequent tours followed although Leadon and Meisner did not participate. The Eagles released new material in 2007 with "Long Road Out of Eden," which became a multi-platinum success. The legendary band continued to play together in 2015.
