Jeetendra, who ruled the Hindi film industry in the 70s and 80s, has a fairytale love story with his wife Shobha Kapoor. The legendary actor had met Shobha on Mumbai’s Marine Drive when she was just 14. On October 31, the couple celebrated their 47th wedding anniversary. They have two children - Ekta Kapoor and Tusshar Kapoor.

Jeetendra celebrated his 79th birthday on April 7. Recently, he celebrated his 47th wedding anniversary with Shobha Kapoor. After a courtship that lasted a decade, Jeetendra married the love of his life in a private wedding ceremony attended by close friends and family members. Among those present at their wedding were lyricist Gulzar, actors Rajesh Khanna and Sanjeev Kumar.

ABOUT JEETENDRA
Jeetendra is one of the most popular actors of Hindi cinema. He made his big screen debut in 1964 with Geet Gaya Patharon Ne and worked in many films over the course of five decades. His dancing skills made him popular too. Jeetendra’s most remembered songs are Naino Mein Sapna, Dhal Gaya Din and Taki O Taki, among many others. Jeetendra was last seen in the Shah Rukh Khan-starrer Om Shanti Om in a cameo appearance. Jeetendra owns the family company Balaji Telefilms and its subsidiary, a digital entertainment service, Alt-Balaji.
The veteran actor now lives a quiet life with his family in Mumbai. He spends time with his children and grandkids. While Jeetendra’s daughter Ekta welcomed Ravie via surrogacy in January 2018, his son Tusshar Kapoor became a single father to his son Laksshya Kapoor via surrogacy in 2016.
