Amazon Smile is not automatically available on Amazon Prime. Will You Please Fix this Glitch?

Hello Amazon Team,

I hope this message finds everyone and their loved ones healthy. Being Amazon is short staffed at this time and since there is no way to email Amazon, I am placing this issue here.

I have noticed, after it's too late, when I log in to my Amazon Prime account, through a web browser, and make a purchase/s, it is *not* going through Amazon Smile and giving the charity I selected any credit!

I can not fit the APP on my phone. But this should not matter. Logging in with my email and password, anytime and everywhere, should automatically open with the settings I selected.

Please fix this issue. And Please, give my selected charity any and all funds they earned and so deserve.

We are speaking of SAVING LIVES!!!!

I sincerely Thank You, Amazon Team, for sharing this platform, and look forward to your response. Stay safe, Be well.

you need to make suggestions to Amazon here:

https://www.amazon.com/hz/contact-us/leave-feedback?from=gp&*entries*=0&_encoding=UTF8&*Version*=1&

with Amazon having trouble even finding enough employees to man their warehouses and answer phones (Chat is work in), I doubt the people in charge of making website and app changes have the time to browse this customer to customer Help forum set up solely for help with Amazon devices and the digital content for them

This is a customer to customer forum, not Amazon.

Just go to smile.amazon.com on your browser.

Up to you to notice where you are. Most of the time if I try to buy something and am not on the Smile side, the system reminds me dirrectly and offers to swtch me.

They won't contribute unless you use the Smile pages, that's all they ask people to do.

They aren't going to go back and make up contributions for orders you didn't place correctly but given it is 1/2 of 1 per cent, you can easily write a tiny check to your charity. Even if you did this with a thousand dollar order you'd only need to send a $5 to your charity to make up for it. :)

If you use www.amazon.com then it will not do the smile donation. You need to use smile.amazon.com for it to work. In the past I found it best to create a bookmark to smile.amazon.com and always use the bookmark. Now I use Chrome as my browser and added the Smile Always browser extension which will automatically change me to smile.amazon.com whenever I go to Amazon in the browser.

They no longer offer the donation to charity

Where is my AmazonSmile account?

Where is my AmazonSmile account?

Amazon permanently shut down the AmazonSmile customer donation program on Feb. 20, 2023. We're continuing to pursue other areas where we can make meaningful change, including investments in programs that support disaster relief and families in need. If you'd like to continue supporting AmazonSmile charities, you can still donate to the organization's wish list. To learn more about our ongoing community support, check out our community news."
