Julian Lennon has been – or should I say was? – a man of all possibilities. This album tells most of the story. The first two tracks, "Valotte" and "Too Late for Goodbyes", really promise that Julian could continue the saga of his father John. The following track, "Say You're Wrong", is still quite nice, but the next five tracks are mostly a waste. "Angillette" is better, but "I Get Up" again nearly bad. After a couple of listenable numbers, then it comes: "Saltwater", a true classic – something that equals, if not "Imagine" or "Oh My Love", then perhaps "Woman" or "#9 Dream." All the time I have been writing this, I have felt cruel constantly comparing Julian to John, but it is sad but true: Julian is at his best when he sounds like John (not only vocally but musically in general). Otherwise, he is an average guy.

Surprisingly strong compilation, he goes from sounding almost exactly like his dad (without the same songwriting skill, unfortunately) to impersonating David Bowie...strange, but damn good. "Saltwater" is a highlight. It's unfair to compare him to John, but he's a hell of a lot better than Sean.

This CD was released by VH1 and is like a greatest hits album for Julian. It's a great CD to listen to!!!
