(Lord Buckhurst, and later sixth earl of Dorset) (1638–1706), a friend and patron of poets. His poems, which appeared with those of Sedley in 1701, include some biting satires and the ballad ‘To all you Ladies now at Land’. He has been identified with Eugenius in Dryden's Of Dramatick Poesy.
