Toronto – Fano Forces in Gojjam, Gondar and Wollo have been working on to unite their forces. Multiple Fano divisions in the above-mentioned areas of the Amhara region of Ethiopia have abandoned parochial existence and reportedly formed single entities in those areas. A grand unity of all the Fano forces is yet to come.
Meanwhile, there are reports that Fano Forces in the Shoa area of Amhara region – where there has been intense fighting recently- are close to the final chapter in forming a single command structure.
Major Abebe Mulatu (AKA Amoraw), who described himself as Public Relation of Shoa Fano Teklay Gizat Division, told Anchor Media “Very soon we will announce our unity to our people. We are also ready for our march to Addis Ababa.”
