British Army Officer, of the King's Dragoon Guards; of Hill Court, Gloucestershire. Peter's birth was registered in the Jul-Aug-Sep quarter of 1920 in the Atherstone district.
Legacy
He was the father of Captain Mark Anthony Peter Phillips, first husband of HRH Princess Anne Elizabeth Alice Louise, Princess Royal of Great Britain, only daughter of HM Queen Elizabeth II and Prince Philip, Duke of Edinburgh.
He was the grandfather of Peter Mark Andrew Phillips and Zara Anne Elizabeth Tindall, née Phillips, who are also grandchildren of HM The Queen and Prince Philip.
