The Miss Mexico 2023 Final was celebrated over two weeks with representatives from each of the 32 states of Mexico. The action packed fortnight contained fast track events including Sport, Top Model, Head to Head, Talent and Beauty with a Purpose. Each of the 32 state titleholders have a Beauty with a Purpose project.

24-year-old Alejandra has a degree in Spanish-American Language and Literature from the University of San Luis Potosí. She also works as a Model and owns her own restaurant “Sherlock’s house”. Her Beauty with a Purpose project “Once Upon a Time”, sets up libraries in schools in rural communities, giving the children the opportunity to seek personal and professional development. The project also supports inspiring new undiscovered writers by awarding them with grants. To date Once Upon a Time has collected around 1,500 books and distributed them to communities. The children in these communities were also given reading and writing workshops. On her crowning, Alejandra said: “I can't fit in my heart the pride, happiness and gratitude that I feel for carrying this title. It's been years of work, focus and perseverance that are reflected today. I'd like to tell you that we're there, that we've made it, but the truth is that this adventure is barely beginning. We're off to Miss World!” Alejandra will represent Mexico at the 71st Miss World Final in India, where reigning Miss World, Karolina Bielawska will crown her successor.
