Jonathan Rhys Meyers debuts adorable son Wolf on the red carpet with wife
Jonathan Rhys Meyers introduced his baby son to the world in style.
The Irish actor (40) and wife Mara Lane Meyers (39) welcomed little Wolf last winter and the couple looked proud as punch of their little one at Monday night's Norwegian premiere of The 12th Man. Dressed in black tie attire, JRM opted for a classic black tuxedo, while his beaming son wore a mini-me version and Mara chose an off the shoulder red gown.
It marks the family's first public appearance since Mara revealed she had a miscarriage in September, which she said she felt forced to publicly reveal in order to explain her husband's relapse in his ongoing battle with alcoholism.
"I could not sit back and see him attacked by Darkness publicly during such a tender time. Thank you for coming to ours," she wrote in a length post on Instagram, captioning two pictures - one of a light between trees and the other, a copy of their sonogram, while their doctor can heard telling them "unfortunately the foetus has no heartbeat".
"To the showering of love received, thank you from bottom of our hearts. I am so humbled and got teary-eyed several times at how beautiful humans can be and so sad but hopeful with the stories shared of depression and miscarriage and addictions," she wrote."Thank you for sharing your soul and stories back, as this helps us feel that we are not alone."
The 12th Man is a true-life film starring the Cork native as Norwegian resistance hero Jan Baalsrud during World War Two.
