Born in Stoke, England youth international Dobbin joined Everton aged 11.

After a successful 2022/23 season out on loan with Derby County, Dobbin was included in the Men's Senior Team's pre-season camp at Lake Geneva and impressed manager Sean Dyche throughout the summer.

He was a regular in the Blues’ Premier League squads throughout that season but had to be patient to secure minutes in the team’s ultra-competitive wide positions.

The attacker seized any opportunities that did come his way, though, most notably smashing a sweetly struck left-footed drive to notch his maiden Senior Team goal in the 2-0 win over Chelsea in December 2023.

An ankle injury stunted his progress towards the end of that campaign, but he still managed to finish the season having accumulated 13 senior appearances for Dyche’s side.

Throughout his time in the Academy, Dobbin built a reputation as a skilful, pacey striker who combined intelligent movement with ruthlessness in front of goal.

Dobbin was named Under-18s Player of the Season after hitting 11 goals in 16 league matches in 2019/20.

The campaign also saw Dobbin make his Everton Under-21s debut and sign a first professional contract with the Club.

He began 2020/21 brightly, scoring twice and assisting two goals in seven Under-18 outings, yet sadly, a knee injury sustained in training checked Dobbin's progress.

After undergoing a demanding rehabilitation programme, Dobbin returned fighting fit for the 2021/22 campaign and enjoyed a blistering run of goalscoring form during Everton Under-21s' pre-season games.

The teenage striker hit 10 goals across five matches – and saw his performances rewarded with a substitute appearance in the Everton First Team's friendly game against Manchester United in front of a 55,000-strong crowd at Old Trafford.

Dobbin continued to impress for Everton Under-21s in early part of the season and trained regularly with the Toffees' Senior Side.

He made his competitive senior debut in the Blues' 2-0 Premier League win over Norwich City in September 2021, coming on as a late substitute for Alex Iwobi at Goodison Park. Dobbin made a further three senior appearances in 2021/22.

For Everton Under-21s, he scored six goals and provided two assists in 18 Premier League 2 appearances.

Dobbin signed a new three-and-a-half-year contract with Everton in January 2022, before making a season-long loan move to Derby County in August of that year.

He went on to make 43 appearances in League One, scoring three goals, and recording four assists during the season.

Contracted until: June 2025
