Tripadvisor’s approach to reviews
Before posting, each Tripadvisor review goes through an automated tracking system, which collects information, answering the following questions: how, what, where and when. If the system detects something that potentially contradicts our community guidelines, the review is not published.
When the system detects a problem, a review may be automatically rejected, sent to the reviewer for validation, or manually reviewed by our team of content specialists, who work 24/7 to maintain the quality of the reviews on our site.
Our team checks each review posted on the site disputed by our community as not meeting our community guidelines.

Highlight of our trip to Bergen! We had an awesome time exploring Bergen by Segway. Regina made sure all of us would be safe, both the experienced and those in our group who had never ridden. She also took the time along the way to provide historical information and answered any questions we had. Highly recommend this tour!

Fantastic experience of seeing the inner fjord area up close. Travelling on the RIB boat was exhilarating and the stops allowed us to enjoy the isolated beauty.

We chose the polar Fjord Cruise, including the hot tub, on the luxury yacht of Kenneth and Sachi. This was an amazing experience, Kenneth is so enthusiastic. He shared with us his experience and nice stories about Tromso. The colours, the landscape were so nice. I really recommend to try the hot tub, we were just 2 of us and enjoyed the 39 degrees of the water while the others were freezing outside. Don't expect to see whales or many birds but just enjoy a wonderful time. Thanks

    Rib boat ride.
What an amazing experience. Adrenaline of bouncing and at several points flying over the waves, then calmly gliding through the waterways of beautiful little islands.
The commentary from the skipper was clear and informative. Never at any point felt in any danger due to his excellent seamanship. If you visit Haugesund please don't miss this experience.
Use these guys in particular because they are the only truly local company and it's important to support local businesses.

This was a must do. Super easy trip and tons of great pics along the way. Guide Webby made it much easier as well. We never did kayaking before and this was easily done.

Michael and Magnus not only were great guides, but also fun and easy to talk to along the way (and brought great snacks!). We went during off season so it was less crowded which was amazing, but I would recommend the use of a guide as it could be easier to veer off path. Highly recommend Trulltunga Adventures for your trip!

Rafting with these guys on a high water level day was super fun and a crazy experience!
Pat was the best guide we could ask for and man, oh man, we wish we could do it again already 🤟🏼

We also did the zipline adventure over river, where we had a privatr tour as noone else booked the visit so we had double the fun and learned the "bat" style of ziplining 🦇
    Best times!

Fantastic boat trip to Ny Alesund hosted by Jenka and Jakob. We were well looked after all the way through and Jenka's narrative was most informative. Observed walruses and variety of birds on the way as well as arctic reindeer at Ny Alesund itself. Amazing views all the way of the trip, very tasty lunch and even a glass of champagne at 79 degrees North. Most treasured memories and a strong desire to return to the Arctic. Would definitely recommend.

I visited Holmen Husky Lodge on a three night trip. It was absolutely brilliant! Everything about this trip was absolutely top notch. The accommodation is brilliant, very warm and cosy. The sauna and outdoor jacuzzi were absolutely sublime - the perfect place to relax after a busy day dog sledding!
The food was absolutely top notch - great veggie options too!
The staff were all absolutely lovely, and a special mention must go to Niklas, who was the perfect host.
And the dogs…the absolute stars of the show! They were beautiful. So keen to run, so affectionate, and clearly loved by those caring for them.
We spent three days sledding, including one ride under moonlight and two longer daytime rides, where we travelled through forests and along a frozen river, stopping for lunch with a campfire.
We were incredibly lucky to see the Northern Lights, which was the icing on the cake for an already perfect trip.
It was so good that I’ve already booked again for next year!

Me and my wife did the bus tours with Blue Puffin in Tromsø and Honningsvåg (to the North Cape) on our cruise and we were very delighted about both tours. We'd been to the North Cape once with another tour provider but with Blue Puffin it was a very special experience. Same in Tromsø where we'd been for the first time.

Blue Puffin won't tell you so much details of its tours in advance, but you can trust Monica and Sebastian, who run the company, the tours are worth every minute. So I won't reveal any details either. But I can tell you this:

    - friendly Tour guide who new a lot (native German speaker, because the group consisted of cruise guests from AIDA; as far as I know Blue Puffin provides native speakers in several languages)

    - tours with small groups of approx. 15 people

    - no problems changing the schedule (our cruise ship arrived much later than planned in both cities)

    - some nice surprises you won't expect and won't get on trips provided by other companies (we did several cruises and booked trips with local companies mainly)

Therefore I can highly recommend Blue Puffin. No mass tourism, just pure Norwegian experience.

The hike was a bit challenging considering the lack of hiking experience, but was definitely worth the views and emotions.

The trip was very enjoyable, from start to end the guide shared with us some background history about Svolvær, the islands around, fishing industry and his thoughts on efforts to protect the environment. When we arrived to the fishing area, it didn't take us more than 1 minute to catch two fish already! It was amazing. The guide explained us very well about the type of fish and even how to cook it. In the end we all caught good amounts of fish and the guide even filleted the fish for us while explaining us fun facts about the fish insides :) in the end, we were allowed to take all the fish we caught home which was great! A totally worthwhile trip.
