To Jackie and the entire staff at BDTFE,
Please allow me to express my deepest sympathies. I only recently learned of Mr. Barrett's passing. Although I only met him twice during the time I worked there, he left a lasting impression on me. He truly was larger than life. May God bless you. My prayers and thoughts are with you.

Jackie,
It was with great sadness that we received word of Mike's passing. I will always think so highly of him - a wonderful man, great patron of the engraver's art and truly, a generous man of honor and integrity! In our book he was absolutely "one of a kind" and will live on in our memory! Our thoughts and prayers are with you,

Jackie & family & law firm-
I was so shocked and saddened to learn of Mike's sudden passing. Mike was an amazing person, a true teacher and leader. He was such a brilliant man, but never made me feel like my thoughts and time were anything less than his. He could light up a room or a conversation with ease.
Please know my thoughts and prayers are with you all through this difficult time.

HE IS NOT DEAD...
I cannot say, and I will not say
That he is dead. He is just away.
With a cheery smile, and a wave of the hand,
He has wandered into an unknown land
And left us dreaming how very fair
It needs must be, since he lingers there.
And you--oh, you, who the wildest yearn
For an old-time step, and the glad return,
Think of him faring on, as dear
In the love of There as the love of Here.
Think of him still as the same, I say,
He is not dead--he is just away.
