I've been playing Terraria for quite a while now, and once did a survival with a friend of me. However, we rushed it a bit so i never truly experienced the fun of playing multiplayer. Now there's another friend that i do know in real life, and i would love to play with him. He wants to do it too, but can't pay for it.
This is where you can help. I would like to know all the tips you can give me to earn some money online. As long as it's not illegal, or anything like a scam, it's perfect. Please give me any idea, it doesn't matter what. I know there are some sort of surveys online, but due to my location there's nothing for me. Your idea shouldn't be something to earn HEAPS of money, but just the 2.5€ needed to buy the game (when it's on sale).

ITT: OP hopes someone will take pity on him and buy him terraria.
Then i would reject it, as then i would feel guilty for that person and ask the internet once again how to earn money online to pay that person back. :P

If he torrented it, i wouldn't be able to play with him. He needs an officially registered copy of terraria.
Mate I have a torrented copy of the game (I can't buy it due to Capital Controls in my country) and I can play online just fine.

Yeah anti-piracy is unfortunately pretty much non-existent in Terraria. All you need is the same version of the game.

I know, or the price of a mid-sized ice cream at our school. The problem is we don't have a credit card to pay online with, so i figured that maybe if i earned it online, i could put it on a paypal and then buy it from the steam store.
How old are you? if you are older than 18 surely you should have one of your own, if you are younger than 18 your parents or whoever your legal guardian is has to have one.
I'm 16, but my parents are influenced by the whole 'scammer' thing, and don't want to pay online with their credit cards. Or at least, not on sites they don't trust.

Get one of your parents to research Steam and make them realise it is literally the biggest gaming platform in the world. Or play loads of tf2 until you can get more keys to sell on the market.
If you don't have a card to pay online then how did you buy the game in the first place?
I bought it after selling 2 team fortress keys i managed to got by trading. The thing is, he doesn't want to trade and i'm not going to do it for him, because it isn't his birthday or anything like that. (And yes, normally i wouldn't mind something small like 2.5€, but he always complains about these things when i ask him.)
Then do it anyway and then he can't turn it down, that's what my friends do to me 'cause if I know in advance I just complain that I don't them to spend money on me. :p

Well if you're looking for ways to make money online, what I did back in the day was:
Surveys
UI testing
Transcribing
r/slavelabour
Mining and selling some hypecoin (garlicoin back in the day lol)
Creating and selling assets (e.g. on the unity store)
A lot of steam item trading
However if I had to do it again now, I would just get a job and buy paysafe cards. Or, torrent it with multiplayer
honestly i feel like a criminal if i straight up answer your question. but you can get them on sites like steamunlocked which is something i do not recommend i mainly use those websites to test out games that i wanna buy. like if i like it i'll buy it using steam if i don't my wallet's gonna thank me for not wasting money.
