My overall experience in Yucaipa is very pleasant. It’s peaceful here, the people are friendly and the community feels safe. There are lots of home opportunities around this area! Perfect place to raise a family.
Yucaipa is a small, but growing city with many opportunities blooming in recent years. However, the city lacks a diverse community with a dominantly white population with conservative beliefs. This city is not very friendly when it comes to other demographics that aren't heterosexual and white.
Yucaipa is family-friendly. We have a healthy community and plenty of churches. We have uptown Yucaipa where the amphitheater is where festivals occur. There is always something to do in Yucaipa we have live music, the Seven Winds Festival, the Autumn Fest, etc. We have plenty of small business and some larger chain restaurants like Chick-fil-A, In-in-out, and Starbucks. It is a very safe community, rarely do large crimes occur.
I was raised in Yucaipa. It has a small town feel and beautiful views and tight community based on family values. I would like to see less traffic and people moving to my hometown of Yucaipa. This is mainly a rural community but over the years the open land we have, has slowly been claimed by new homes and business's.
Living in Yucaipa is great, the community is really well connected, the people you meet here feel like family. I love how its a small town, I love our festivals, I love how pretty our city is, I love how its so close to many other cities around us.
It’s a fairly small town with a few fun things to do. I find it pretty safe. It is in driving distance from malls, movie theaters, and many other fun activities.
I have spent most of my life growing up in Yucaipa and I can easily say that I'm fortunate. I know that many connections that have been made will be forever long. I've made them in my town where my family and I have grown together. Although I and my family are smaller we have gotten to know so many other kind families around us making out the overall experience in the city greatly change.
I would never move back there ever. It the most racist and incested city ever. I grew up there and it was a nightmare every day for me.
Small town feel, 45 minutes from mountains, desert, beaches. Green hills and amazing sunsets. Very sports oriented city for both children and adults.
I have enjoyed living here and raising my children for 16 years now. The location is near Redlands, where we have doctors, friends and many things to do. We do not have to live on top of our neighbors. We have a large yard and friendly neighbors.
I wish Yucaipa was more diverse. I enjoyed growing up in a small town where everyone knows each other and can rely on neighbors for help. Close to the mountains, beaches, and deserts.
It’s a very quiet and hometown type of vibe good for people who don’t like big city’s. And the community is very strong.
I lived in Yucaipa for 25 years and love it. The town may be sleepy, but that keeps out the criminal element.
CORRECTION: political views are leaned 75+ Percentage are Conservatives. Although the town has grown with a large diverse group of people moving in past 10 years, it remains most - older residents & their offspring, plus mass number of new transplants are conservatives & minimal number of moderates & liberals, hence not a very welcoming (if at all) environment for POC. If you’re a minority, you should pass on this area especially if you have a growing family, hate dominates the entire town for those who are considered outsiders, city folk & especially ALL people of color.
NICHE needs to correct the main political view of this city - Not Moderate.

I would love the racism to change in this city no doubt. Overall good safety and shops. I appreciate the good friendly neighbors who understand privacy
Yucaipa is a very beautiful area to live in, if you prefer living in a small town. The only downside is if you want to do something fun, you would have to travel out of town because there is little to no entertainment in Yucaipa.
I grew up in Yucaipa for most of my life and I can tell you that this town is great. It’s a small town and everyone knows everyone so, even if you try to do something someone will know about it. Yucaipa is like twenty minutes away from oak glen, then there’s Redlands next over. I love this town, there are great schools for kids.
