Traveled to linden hall for a wedding. The property was beautiful, hotel rooms need a little updating but staff was amazing. Venue was beautiful as well but would have liked a little better organized wedding planner and organized transportation and direction. Overall loved the experience. It was great that everything was in one place. Wedding hotel breakfast bar and restaurant. Could even have a golf game

Such a marvelous time! Gorgeous grounds very well kept for an older establishment. One of the cleanest rooms I have ever stayed in. Outstanding service! Some of the best food as well. Thank you to the entire team for a great weekend and hosting an entire wedding party.

What a fantastic place. Beautiful and delicious. The area and grounds are excellent. Would go again. The food was great as was the golf course. Rooms were adequate but beds were comfy. Only have two double beds and wish for king or queen.

I attended a wedding at Linden Hall and was blown away by the beauty of the property. The outdoor wedding setup, cocktails at the mansion, and the elegant wedding tent was the perfect setting for a beautiful occasion.

Although the rooms were dated, they were very clean which made up for the lack of amenities. The restaurant staff at breakfast were very pleasant and eager to please. I wish I could say the same about the front desk staff. I had three different encounters at the front desk and each time I felt as though I was bothering them. Each time I had to get their attention even though it is a small area and I was in plain view. This was not a a singular episode as other family members experienced the same. At check-in, it’s fairly common practice to tell the guests a little about the hotel and where to find your room, bar, and restaurant. None of that information was forthcoming. I felt as though I was extracting information.

The venue gets a 5 star. The hotel gets a solid 3.

I stayed here with my brother-in-law on a bike trip from Pittsburgh to Cumberland on the Great Allegheny Passage trail in June 2014. It is a good four miles from the trail, and the first mile is straight up, but once arrived the place is a welcome break from the trail. Our room in the aging motel annex was clean, the beds comfortable, and the staff helpful and friendly. We ate at the pub, which had good burgers, inexpensive beer, and good service. The pool was good too. The turnoff from the trail along the Yough was not very well marked, so look out for the Layton tunnel sign, then go through the tunnel and over the bridge. The included buffet breakfast was good and very filling. The United Steelworkers Union owns and runs the place, and they do a good job.

We went to a wedding here and it was pretty nice. The mansion is pretty cool and classy but its also old and scary. The place is some kind of steel worker resort so the bar afterwards is full of steel workers, it was pretty fun though they were a lively bunch. The rooms are kind of old and crappy so don't expect much but it is a nice place for a wedding.

We were married here on June 28,th 2014. As previously reviewers have stated we knew immediately upon entering the mansion that it was the place we would be married.. The house is
simply majestic and filled with such class and finesse it bespeaks to a time of grandeur and sophistication long since forgotten. The wedding coordinator Bonnie would not have been more warm, accomodating and kind everything went off flawlessly. They took care of everything from helping us find a florist, baker, musicians and we even had our rehearsal dinner at the estate. I can still remember vividly every moment of our special day. We felt like royalty as we processed down the pathway to the gardens for the ceremony, then a grand cocktail hour in the library with its magnificent marble fountain, the panelled library and gorgeous interior. Our dinner reception was executed with the utmost precision and care. the food sumptuous, the service attentive and the entire venue was like being in one of the royal residences of England. I would highly recommend this venue too all who are looking for that very special place to have their wedding and to be able to trust and be confident that there every wish , hope and desire will be met perfectly We plan on returning this June for our one year anniversay to recall the splendid place. Thanks to all who made our day so grand.

The view of the Manson from the course is impressive. A very nice hotel/motel with an attached 18 hole golf course that is in very good condition make this a great place to stay and play. They offer a "golf til you drop" package that is excellent for its unlimited golf and carts along with breakfasts and dinners for a very reasonable price. The golf course is in very good condition. The course plays very hard from the back tees but there are enough forward tees that any golfer can find a distance that is challenging for a day. The greens are large and have very good speed. This is a mountain course, so you will have some side hill lies to spice up your round. An excellent day of golf at a place where you can stay and play.

Linden Hall does have free Wi-Fi. It's not the fastest in the world, but it was adequate for everything I had to do.

"Rooms are expensive . We paid over 100.00 for a 59$ econo lodge quality room. That was block prices for the wedding guest."
