High School period was an overall scary thing to step into alone. Having to assume your own independence after coming from a place of community and unity like elementary and middle school made the switch more dramatic than it was. Cypress Lakes allowed me to become the person I am today safely and had different methods to block temptations of the wrong peers.
This school is great with diversity, which includes many ethnicities of people. However the faculty could use more discipline in the students and some teachers lack an effort in teaching the students.
The best part about cypress lakes is probably the diversity. In my time here I have been able to meet a ton of different people and I think it has helped me become a better person. The worst thing about cypress lakes is probably the students. Now while there are some great people there of course, the bad ones really make it hard for the rest of the students and teachers to do work. There are always students smoking in bathrooms and who refuse to do any schoolwork. These students are really the only bad thing that I can say about Cypress Lakes, other than them I think that the school is great and really has prepared me for real life.
My experience at Cypress Lakes High School has been full of up's and down's. It has been hard for me to reach my fullest potential because of the lack of teacher and administrative involvement. Almost everything that I have done has required me to reach out to them as most information is never provided to students. However, this has taught me a sense of initiative when it comes to asking questions. I would really like to see the overall safety of the school improve. I have witnessed many physical altercations and violence and I feel that it is extremely important to improve this for the future of my school. One of the best parts of the school is the sense of community and diversity. I have met people of all backgrounds and it has opened my eyes to other people's experiences.
Attending Cypress Lakes High School in Katy TX was memorable. The teacher's involvement and commitment to each student were excellent. The school itself is very diverse there is a friend group for every student in attendance. The extracurricular activities offered were incredible and helpful for college. The health science programs with CFISD are awesome as they are involved with Lone Star College.
Cypress Lakes is a very nice school with much diversity. I love to attend the games and track meets that take place at my school.
My time at Cypress Lakes High School was positive. As an international student dealing with a language barrier, I received valuable support from both teachers and counselors. The educators were exceptional, providing clear explanations. If expressing gratitude beyond my parents, it would undoubtedly be directed towards the teachers.
Cypress lakes is the best place for academy performance, they have the best qualified teachers and consolers in the school, they also have good sanitation facilities in the school.
The best parts about being a student at Cypress Lakes High School is seeing my friends everyday and being able to get access to a nice education. The worst parts include the stress from the classes.
It is a school that lets you explore yourself and figure out exactly what you want to do in the future. There many variety of classes to take if a student still is not sure want career to follow in the future.
I would like to see improvements in the civil structure of the school. The school has structural damage and possible mold issues.
My experience so far has been great as I've had multiple encouraging teachers who've helped me find where I want to go in life, a coach who supported me through my darkest points, and plenty of fun experiences in the different departments of the school. This isn't to say that my experience has been all good. There are a lot of fights that happen in the hallways, kids who make the bathrooms unusable, and the tardy rules are bothersome. All that said, I think that this school has a lot to offer students who want to do something with their academic careers. The school has set me up to have my associates by the time I get my diploma, so I am appreciative.
There were a lot of difficulties attending Cypress Lakes High School, although many of the teachers were very unique in teaching styles and took care of the children who needed assistance, I would notice a lot of lazy teachers who most definitely had favorites. This was simply not fair to those who would work their bodies off to be able to pass a class because the teacher would simply grade the students based on their personal liking.
Cypress Lakes will always have a place in my heart. I met many amazing friends and teachers. There are teachers who are so amazing which has led them to chase my dreams. The teachers there really care about students and want the best for them. There is many amazing electives and sports to choose from. Whatever you may be passionate in will be in Cypress Lakes. I will forever cherish the amazing memories made there.
Regarding my person experience at this school it was decent. Most of the staff there want to see you succeed and do great things in life, they want to help you blossom and reach your fullest potential. The extra curricula's offered there are a great way to meet more like mined people that are interested in the same things you are and, don’t be afraid to join multiple clubs and sport. Coaches and teacher will work with your busy schedule as long as you respect theirs.
I attended Cypress Lakes High School for all four years of high school. My time there was full go surprises both good and bad. I met some of my bestest friends there. I laughed and I cried, won and lost. I think it was a good experience. I liked most of my teachers. I say it’s a pretty decent school.
My teachers and counselors at Cypress Lakes High School were very supportive. My parents were always communicating with my teachers at each level from freshman to senior and they were comfortable contacting my parents if I lost focus on my school work. Although there were some students who had issues, the principal and her staff were always fair with them. I also appreciate the after school activities like choir that kept me motivated to do my best while at the high school. I would recommend students attending this high school who have engaging parents.
