Strengths
- Relatively easy to build - Decent Physical DPS and crowd-control - Can self-cleanse with Elemental Burst ↳ Able to clear elements on a character by inflicting swirl - Flexible character that can fit in different teams as support or DPS - Very effective as a Healer since her Burst heals her and all her party members in a short burst

Jean Can Be Built As A Healer & Main DPS

Jean is a healer that can be used as a Main DPS with her powerful Physical DMG. Each role has different set of recommended weapons and artifacts so check the guide below for each one.

This build gives Jean a good mix of healing and support abilities in her kit. Although you can run this with more Healing-focused artifacts, having a full VV set is better since it provides Elemental shred. For F2P, you can use Favonius Sword or Amenoma Kageuchi as weapons.

This build focuses on increasing Jean's overall DMG to allow her to be the an on-field main DPS. Since Jean does not have Anemo infusion in her kit, her DMG is mostly Physical DMG as a Main DPS.

Healing Is Not A Priority

Again, since Jean scales off ATK when it comes to her healing, she will naturally still be able to heal the team even when running a full DPS Build. Do note that the healing in this build isn't as strong.

Jean's Weapon Depends On What Role You Use Jean For

To increase the amount of healing and the damage of Jean, increasing ATK is important. For Support builds, selecting weapons with CRIT Stats or DMG bonus is important but for support, additional effect matters more.

Increase Energy Recharge / ATK For Better Healing

Since Jean's healing scales of ATK, it's best to use a weapon with either a high base ATK or with an ATK% substat when running a healer build. Using an ER weapon is also viable since it will increase Burst uptime, Jean's main source of healing.

CR/CD/ATK Sub-Stat Weapon Is Ideal

For a Main DPS Build, it's essential to have a weapon that will increase Jean's overall damage. Since an On-Field DPS Jean mainly deals damage through Normal Attack and Physical DMG, weapon type that increases DMG Bonus and CRIT are recommended. are recommended.

Prioritize Increasing ATK Over Other Offensive Stats

Jean scales of ATK when it comes to her healing so building it should be your number one priority when it comes to a healer or support build. Giving her a full Viridescent Venerer build will lower her healing compared to a more healer conventional build, but it will give her more utility as a Support. Investing in CRIT Rate is important when you are using Favonious Sword but if not, it can be minimal.

Deals Anemo Damage & Knock Back

Jean's Elemental Skill deals Anemo and applies Swirl to enemies it hits. It is a quick and convenient way to produce energy particles due to its short cooldown.

Hold Skill To Gather & Throw Enemies

If you hold down Jean's Elemental Skill, she can gather nearby lightweight enemies and toss them when released. The amount of time Jean can hold enemies depends on her stamina.

Uses Of Jean's Elemental Burst

Applies Constant Swirl Damage

When Jean uses her Burst, she will create a circular field wherein continuous Anemo DMG will happen. It can also have ane Elemental infusion and deal Swirl DMG if another element is present in the field.

Deals Initial High Anemo Damage

Jean can inflict Anemo DMG initially upon using her burst. It is relatively powerful and if built like a main DPS, can deal significant Anemo DMG.

Since Jean can be pulled from both Standard and Limited-time Banners, it's recommended not to aim for her when pulling. It's better to leave it up to chance that you can get her when losing 50-50 from the Limited-time Banners, rather than pulling on the Standard Banner for her.

Ideal To Have C2 Or C4

Since it is currently difficult to gain Constellations for Jean, it is realistic to use her without Constellations. However, C2 provides a movement/attack speed buff, and C4 provides Anemo Shred. Both have great performance.
