My overall experience with Bosse High School was a diverse one. There were some troubles like any other high school but there was also some good things. The staff help a lot when it comes to deciding our futures and the curriculum really sets students up for their future.
The best parts of my school is that there are many ways to get involved with others as well as being able to connect. There are extracurriculars, clubs, etc. The worst parts is there are restrictions that gradually become unnecessary. This could be certain rules and such. I would like to see the school grow in a way that would be better for the students and individuals there.
I have been at Bosse all 4 years and I liked the fact they decided to add after-school programs this year. My senior has been a little wild with our principal out of office until next year. He has done a really good job being a principal and keeping people in line, for the most part. One thing I will say I'd like to see change is the way some teachers approach fights or disruptions. Also, I would hope the food gets better for the next year's class.
I have always felt a strong connection between most of my peers and teachers. The school puts its all into making the students the best versions of themselves as they can be. Even though some teachers styles of teaching were not very compatible with me I feel that they all have provided me with all the knowledge and help they could offer.
Overall I didn’t feel the safest in the school there were students that were letting people in and out of the school through side doors the school wasn’t very secure nor consistent in discipline. Female sports were neglected, unfortunately. Academically I feel we’re weren’t prepared for furthering our education. Transferring to this Evansville school was very different. I was doing work that I was doing in 10th grade as a senior.
Bosse High School is very unique. It is filled with many different people and cultures. Although there is always a negative side, there is no other school I'd rather go to. I have learned so much both academically and emotionally. I have made friends who have caused me to mature and be the person I am today.
Benjamin Bosse High was an alright school. They were underfunded but did their best with what they had. I really appreciated the diversity in the school, both in their staff and students. I had had issues with racism towards me not being taken seriously but that wasn’t an issue there. I also really enjoyed the wide variety of clubs and extracurriculars, I really do feel like there was something for everyone.
I think my experience could have been a lot better. The teachers weren't as good as they could've been. They also seem to have a revolving door for teachers.
It is a very inclusive school. Everyone was nice there including students and teachers. The AP classes are amazing. The gym is considerably brand new and so are the tennis courts. All the teachers are really nice and very inclusive to students of all types. The counselors are the most helpful people there are when it come to schooling they will help you get your dream schedule while still getting your credits, they help you in the best way possible and they always have a plan.
Bosse has a diverse student culture with plenty of clubs and sports to make new friends, it's a small school and everyone knows each other. But the administration needs to be better and pay more attention to their students.
Bosse has been absolutely wonderful and set me on my way for my future! They have helped guide toward all routes that have helped me to reach all of my goals. The teachers are caring and always supportive. The office staff is always there to direct me in choices I need to make to give me a bright future! I feel that I have a gained a wonderful base of knowledge from my time here to successfully move forward with my college career. I will have lasting relationships with my teachers and the faculty of the school. There is always a positive learning environment and teachers maintain a level of respect for their students to create an easy atmosphere to learn in. They offer a wide variety of classes and opportunities to keep students interested and involved with their education. The school constantly pushes students forward to set them up for great success in life. There are many after school opportunities and sporting functions to participate in that are always team building experiences!
I have had great experiences with many of the staff at Bosse. They want the best for the students and some go above and beyond to help when you ask for it. The Administration conducts periodic surveys to capture our concerns and find ways to improve things at the school which is good.
My experience in Benjamin Bosse High School has been very bittersweet to me. It's very bittersweet because throughout my three years and going on four years, I have been through a lot. I have joined The color guard team for 2 years and just now started being in the Bosse theatre project. When I graduate in next 5 months, I wanna like back and say it was all worth it.
I went to Bosse for all four years of high school. I enjoyed every minute of it. I'm going to miss all the great people I met.
Bosse High School was such an enriching school to attend due to the diversity of the student body, the personal connections with the faculty, and the fine arts opportunities offered.
There is a lot of diversity, which I love. There is a huge support system and the staff want the best for you.
I really like that Bosse is a very diverse school.I also like that teachers try hard to help students out if they need help.
