Any scenes/ moments from the manga you wish the anime didn’t skip?

Discussion

After watching the anime/ movie again (May 5th you know) I’m still sad they skipped the entire backstory of the Nakanos sisters drifting apart (Chp. 87-90). Had the crying Yotsuba on swing scene and Maruo taking in the quintuplets after Rena passed away.

The class starting rumors that the two class reps (Fuutarou and Yotsuba) are dating.

Also, just to check, you know there are OVAs made that has the swing scene. Need to sail the high seas for them though.

I know the about the OVAs yeah but haven’t watched. Doesn’t seem like Crunchyroll will be getting it anytime soon. Thanks for the info on the swing scene. Maybe being a pirate isn’t all that bad…

Chapter 72

Agreed! Anime needed more Takeda content in my opinion. Especially his thing on being an astronaut would’ve been nice.

But part of those chapters were in the movie? I remember the aftermath of their mom passing away

But your taking as a whole chapter

Yeah parts but not all. At least the beginning of Chp. 87 were in the movie.

Honestly chp 72 should have been there probably would have made Yotsuba less hated (in anime) but she was always hated when the manga was still ongoing (choice wise)

And for me the sauna part with Miku & Ichika (Fan service plz)

The chp were the sister hanging out getting popcorn before the Futaro decision Like I was upset that it was not there It tells that the girls are going to be fine and love each other when he makes his choice (even though it backfired anyway)

Oh the wedding part like come on it should have been there

Yeah chp. 72 felt like it was necessary to have. The anime does the thing where it tones down the level of “hate” you’re supposed to have for a certain sister compared to the manga. Example is Ichika where I felt that in the “Sisters War” arc she felt less “villainous” in the anime compared to the manga if that makes sense.

True

But in all seriousness, picking Yotsuba is shocking in anime format. ( 72 probably would have helped not make it shocking)

And I agree with you that Ichika didn't really feel like a villain in anime, plus I don't think there really is a villain in this series
Was supposed to be Nino but look what happened lol.
