Shane Stanley is an indie filmmaker who got his start while in diapers, appearing in many commercials. The son of a documentary filmmaker, Shane would eventually follow in his father’s footsteps and moving up the chain of command go from production assistant to bonafide indie filmmaker. Having executive produced Dwayne Johnson’s Gridiron Gang based on a documentary he worked on, Stanley has been getting major props for his action-comedy Double Threat starring “Cat in the Hat”‘s Danielle Ryan and “Mrs. Doubtfire”‘s Matthew Lawrence. Shane talks about his career and his book What You Don’t Learn in Film School: A Complete Guide to (Independent) Filmmaking in this exclusive interview.

Special Thanks to Shane Stanley and Andrea McKinnon PR for making this interview possible.
