Bethany Ann Cockroft Brown was born on July 31, 1967 in Owasso, MI. She passed away at her Oldfield, MO home on November 3rd, 2020, after a short battle with cancer. Bethany is survived by her son, Wesley Brown, her parents, James and Mary Cockroft, and siblings Stephen (Michelle) Cockroft, John (Andrea) Cockroft, Sherilyn (David) Hopkins, and Ashley (Brandon) Reynolds. She is also survived by sister-in-law, Shannon Prince, along with aunts, uncles, cousins, nieces and nephews. Bethany was active at Schweitzer United Methodist Church and Springfield Little Theatre. She was also on the board of the Boys Choir of Springfield, Springfield Opera Guild, and Marshfield Cherry Blossom Festival. Donations can be made to Springfield Little Theatre or Least of These Christian County Food Pantry. A graveside service will be held at 11:00 a.m. on Monday, November 9th, 2020 at Old Boston Cemetery in Oldfield, MO. Arrangements are under the direction of Adams Funeral Home, Ozark.
