Meet Samantha McAfee, The Wife Of ESPN's Star Personality
There might not be a bigger rising star in the sports media world in recent years than Pat McAfee.
Since 2018, McAfee's eponymous radio and television show has exploded and now is part of ESPN's daily programming. The 36-year-old former NFL punter signed a five-year, $85 million contract with the Worldwide Leader earlier this year.
In addition to his daily show, McAfee is also part of ESPN's College GameDay panel and has made appearances with WWE over the last five years. Away from the job, he's a family man with a wife and daughter.
McAfee and his wife Samantha were married in August 2020. Fittingly, McAfee wore a tuxedo with shorts during the ceremony.
Both Pat and Samantha have been open about the couple's struggles with infertility, and after years of different treatments and strategies, finally announced in November 2022 they were expecting their first child.
That baby, a girl named Mackenzie Lynn McAfee, was born on May 4.
"Our journey to get to this point was everything but easy. However we wouldn’t change anything if it means we would have this perfect angel baby," Samantha McAfee wrote at the time on Instagram.
Samantha regularly posts pictures of their daughter on Instagram, as well as updates on herself and Pat.
2023 has certainly been good to the McAfees so far. Hopefully, 2024 does the same.
