David Cowgill (born December 8, 1960 in McAllen, Texas) is an American character actor. Often used for minor characters, additional voices or ADR looping (primarily for DreamWorks Animation); his most noticeable role is in the Friday Night Lights TV series as Slammin' Sammy (replacing Bob Thomas from the film).
